Chapter 6: Trip

"Professor...Xavier?" Nina softly knocked on his office door and heard a come in. Walking in she closed the door behind her and stood in front of his desk.

"Yes, Nina? Is something wrong?" She took a small breath. 
"I..I originally came here to find my dad...but I got distracted of course and I really do want to find him..." she stated softly.

"It's hard to explain...so you think you can" she did a small flicker of her hand towards her head. 
"Of course, just relax" he placed his two fingers on his temple and closed her eyes. After a few his eyes widened and looked at her.

"Erik? Erik lehnsherr?" She twisted her mouth a little. 
"Yeah, but I didn't know him as that. But yes. And I heard he was here but...I haven't found or seen him so I was wondering if you would be able to help me..?" He thought for a second and had nodded.

"Of course, but he is not here. He had gone away to live on his own a few years ago...but I know where he is." Her eyes widened and held her hands together smiling.

"Really? That's...thank you" he did a slight smile and nodded.
"But he loves far ways, it causes for a road trip" 
"I can handle that. But...I don't know how to drive"

"Then you can take someone with you. Just let me know who so I can make an arrangement." She nodded and stood up.
"Thank you so much, professor! I'll be back in a bit!" She started and ran out of the office going to rogues door.

"Rogue? Rogue you there?" She opened her door a little and she was reading a book. "Yes?"

"I don't know how to drive and I want to take you to go see my father which is a road trip away. I'll explain only if you say yes"

Rogue scratched her head and slowly nodded. 
"Yeah? But-" she was interrupted with a small squeal and her running out of the room and bumping into Piotr.

"Ow.," she whined softly and placed her hand on her forehead. 
"Nina! I am sorry, I did not mean that" he bent down and helped her up.

"You should not be running so fast" she nodded and smiled a little rubbing her forehead.
"I'm sorry Piotr. I was just excited and- wait maybe you can come with me too!" She had pulled his hand towards rogues room.

She got both of them together and sat down. 
"Okay...I don't want to alarm you so quickly but. Magneto or Erik is my father!" Both of them went quiet and rogue stood up.

"There is no fuckin' way" 
"Language please, by she is correct. How? When did this happen?" Smiling she took a retain and began to explain.

"In 1973...I basically died. Years later my grams, which isn't really related but she was so amazing..brought me back and took care of me until only a few months ago when I came here and died. That's the short version. And my father was well magneto. But he went under another name so my name is Nina Gursky"

"But...but you're so adorable and sweet and so innocent and he's...he's killed, people!" She threw her hands in the air. 
"Well...he's a good guy. I know he is...good intending...but I truly want to meet him for the first time. So...will you guys help me get to him? You're both my best friends.."

"Well...would you be able to help me?" Asking sweetly she messed with her hands and looked at hem.
"Please...it's a road trip so we all could hang out for a while...plus missing training just a few times isn't so bad.." She blushed a little bit and felt Piotr's hand touch her head
"Of course I'll go with you, anything for a friend"

"And you rogue? would you go with me?" rogue twisted her mouth and looked to the side.
"you know he almost killed me right?"
"Oh.. I didn't know I'm sorry" she felt embarrassed not knowing of this and heard a soft sigh.
"I'll go with you, but if he pushes my buttons then he's going down in a second"

"Thank you!" She shouted and held onto both of their necks hugging him tightly.
"I can't wait to meet him...just don't tell me anything I want to see and learn for myself"

"So I say...just pack for at least 2 weeks just to make sure okay? Don't want anything to be short. I'll go tell the professor. I'm so happy you two actually considered this"

"Anything for you, it's like we've known each other for a long time. Don't worry about it Nina" he pulled her into a soft hug and giggled softly closing her eyes. 
"Well...I might as well start packing. Go on you two I need a bit more sleep now
