Chapter 28: Job talk

*Beep Beep* *Beep Beep*

"Ngh..." a dry groan slowly come from piotrs mouth and he turned his head to the side. Seeing his clock he wish he could just smash it but then it would cost him. He turned off the alarm and sat up, only for an arm to be wrapped around him. Of course he smiled and turned a little bit then got up, But that didn't stop from the arms of Nina wrapping around his neck and wrapping her legs around his waist s he stood up.

"Wha...Nina let go..." he stood up and lifted a brow, the mirror showing that she was on his back. Rolling his eyes he looked at his pants on the small chair and grabbed them, leaning down so he could get them on.

"Nina, honey I need to go to work" he stated and pulling his pants up to where her legs stopped.
"Five more minutes! You're so warm...." she mumbled softly. Not wanting to take her off but needing to.

"Baby you know I'll be back, and if you want I'll cover you up in some blankets and make you a burrito" he stared and she grunted. He lowered down to the bed and felt her arms and legs slip off, making her curl into the blankets again.

She heard and decided to watch him as he washed up in the bathroom and get his shirt and shoes on. Sitting up she held her blankets and decided to grab his phone and his jacket. Rubbing her eyes she watched as he dried his hair a little and smiled at her.

"Thank you love" he kissed her cheek and got his jacket on and tucked his phone in his jacket.
"Mhm..I wish you could just stay with me...all day" she mumbled and wrapped her hands around his waist cuddling him.

"Some days and weekends, I'm working for the both of us" he smiled and rubbed her head and the base of her antlers.
"Maybe I should get a job to...so I'm not so bored.." she mumbled as he grabbed her and wrapped her up into a burrito placing her onto the bed.

"We'll talk about that once I get home, I'll see you later" he stated and walked out the bedroom door closing it. She huffed and ran back to the bed, grabbing her phone and quickly calling him.

"Baby....I barely got into the middle of the stairs and you're already calling."
"I'm sorry that I miss you, it's not my fault i'm attached" she mumbled and yawned d loudly into the phone.

"I'll see you when I get home, I'll be pretty tired so I will be able to cuddle and sleep with you. Go back to bed, love you" he stated and hung up, a smile to his face and getting to the garage.

Whining, Nina placed her phone down and moved her feet towards her blanket. Closing her eyes and sighing softly. She mainly laid in the bed the entire day, only getting up and getting dressed for food and a walk outside for a while.

As she contemplated a few things she waited for Piotr to go through the room doors. Watching the door open she saw him and just watched as he went towards the door. Tilting her head she saw as her threw his jacket down onto a chair and slightly groaned.

"Piotr?" She asked and he held his arms out walking to her. Standing up she got close to him and smiled as he grabbed her into a hug and fell forward into the bed, her giggling softly

"Hard day at work?"
"Mhm.."
"So...you're tired?"
"Mhm.."
"Okay....did you miss me?"
"Mhm.." his responses being the same she just rubbed his hair, looking and seeing as he was half off the bed and half on the bed, letting out a sigh she cuddled him.

"You wanna take a nap?"
"No..." he groaned and tilted his head.
"Aren't you tired?"
"Yes.." holding her arms around him she hummed.

"Let's just talk....I'm sure talking is fine?" He asked her.
"Of course, we can...talk about me getting a job also?" She asked and placed her hands onto his cheeks.
"Yeah, and I think I know just the place..but only if you want to get a job, I can support us both to the point where you don't have to do anything in the day. But I'm not stopping you..and well if we live together in the future...you could be a...stay at home, even if that's a pretty hard job.." he referenced what he wanted in the future for the both of them and moved his hands to her waist.

"I don't want you to always be working...I don't want you to always be the one that does everything. I'm not doubting you or the work you do but...I also want to help. I don't always want to stay at home doing nothing and just sitting around..of course I want to do something to help us more but I also want to do something that I love.."

"Only if we could get paid...but just doing exactly that we would be billionaires..." he smirked and lifted his head to hers.
"What? I don't understand your reference...." chuckling at her innocents he shook his head and held her tightly.

"Well...there's a conservation area for animals that's a..1 hour walk but a 20 minute drive from here I think and then a zoo about 3 hours by car I think from here, I'm just guessing you want to do something with animals so...I guess those are your animal options if you like them"

"I love those ideas! Maybe after you get some sleep we could look them up together"
"Of course, but most of the animals that they get are...traumatized and hurt badly so they would need a lot of your time, but I guess it would be easy since you can speak with them" he kissed her antlers and shifted both of their bodies.

"I can just....all animals need to be adored...loved...adorable..." she said in a babyish voice and squeaked, making Piotr chuckle.

Teasing her he hummed.
"If we ever...decide to have kids I wouldn't be surprised if you gave birth to a cat" he hummed against her chest as he began to outline it.
"Did you eat princess?"

"That would be something new" she giggled and tilted her head.
"Yes I did, and I was actually wondering if..I could cook for you...not sure when but...I want to"

"Of course you can love, only if you have the time...and you can cook for the both of us" he leaned up and kissed her nose, of course slipping his hand down her loose pants.

"You sore sweetheart..?" She quickly shook her head and tucked her lip in as he did so.
"I'm not I promise" she stated and shifted her. Off moving down to face his face.

"But no need for that now...you need sleep" she bopped his nose with her lips and got to where she could cover him up with a blanket.
"Sleep tight, I know you're tired.."
