Chapter 20: Relization PT 2

What was wrong with me' the words went through Nina's head as she was back to back with hank. She couldn't shake the feeling off but she just, couldn't. her body was trembling at this moment. After the day of piotrs birthday, she told him that they were friends and she walked away. she thought that she had..liked the other boy, Alex. Only to find that her body trembled and her heart raced at the sight of Piotr. It killed her to not talk to him, it had been 3 days and they haven't spoken, they were on a mission currently and it seemed that some hybrid androids programmed and controlled by some intelligent mutant had been attacking in the mountains. They were attacking her now and hank and here were surrounded.

"Left!" Hank shouted and she pulled up some roots from the ground wrapping the bot in them and throwing it across the field.
"were surrounded, I can't keep doing this!" Nina shouted and he knew she was right.
"we just need an opening, before he comes out and kills us all, he's almost done" she looked up at the largely redone sentinel who was charging up to attack. It had been too late, the sentinel began to move quickly and swung its arms done to hank and Nina, ready to be hit they braced themselves but soon felt cold metal arms around them.

"Back just in time" the thick Russian voice had called out and set the two down.
"you can't be here! you know what he does he will kill you, that's why we and the others were here! you didn't listen to colossus" Piotr she knew it was because of her, she wanted away from the mansion for a mission but all he did was want to be near and protect her. it would be her fault if he got hurt.

"Hard headed doc, now I suggest you both run, I can hold him off for a bit, logans down by the bird, now Piotr yelled at them both but not in a mean way, hank grabbed into Nina and they began to run.

"we need quick backup now!" he cant handle that thing alone we can't leave him!" Nina's voice had began to shake but she couldbt let that happen.

"Sorry but we need-" beofrw hank could say another word an explosion happened . she sw piotrs shiny body turb=n normal, something through his stomach.

"no.." Nightcrawler, who was in the back and wounded had whispered.
"what....no, no" sje stated she and yaked her arm away and pessed her hands onyo logan and kurt.

"i wont let this happen because of me" she stated. she had now been able to teleport between distances and was now ontop of this sentinel. thinking snd seeing how he was, t ears welled in her eyes and she quickly began to punch the sentinels neck, claws shooting out of her hand and making her cry out. 

"stop, this instant" the sentinel shouted out and began to throw its handas back, not letting his get her she used her knew claws and teleportation to stab and finally pull the head off of the sentinel, seeing the man in the seat.

"shit! back you-" before he could blast her away she stabbed the man in the stomach.
"you...you ass..." she finally began to cry.
"dont think...im dumb" he stated, he held up a detonater and pressed it. a blast occuring and her being blasted in the same way piotr was pushed to. landing agaisnt a tree she cough up blood and couldnt see. opening her eyes she glanced and saw a large hand come fromt he snow.

"piotr.." she coudghed out and slowly moved to him, taking his hand into hers and curling to his still warm body.
"dont...leav" she mumbled. usong the rest of what she had left she ancased him and her in a plant cacoon like shell, after that anothjer shelll type had held them like a tomb. soon after a vine had lifted them up  wards into the sky, but not passed th clouds.

it was like a large jack in the bean stalk type thing, the last thing she did she could remeber  was wrapping herself against piotr, hoping to keep him alive.

it wasnt her ault, it was his, him and his own follihs love for the woman he cared about. He saw what she did and what happened with the explosion and knew that it was his fsult now. he caused her to run and try to kill hinm, to rip the head off and make that man commit suicudal murder. She was going to die because of him and he couldnt let  that happen, he  loved her. Soon piotr felt her hand grasp his and he held onto her, telling that she was unconcious something else was going on. he didnt care though, the fact that he was able to hold her hand had made and gave him the strentgh to pull her close to him, knowngnhe would take his last breath.

"What is that?"
"it's possible that Nina subconsciously locked her and Piotr into a cocoon like a state, its possibly healing them but in case its not..we need to hurry and get them out fast"

"Scott, I need you to blast and laser it open" Nodding, Scott did just so and watched as the shell flew open and a gas was spilled out, but other then that there were vine-like ropes wrapped around them, the mold of their bodies being seen.scott doing it again had done it more carefully, this time a type if slime had covered the two, both  of them hand in hand and Nina curled against Piotr. The large wound that they had seen through his stomach was gone, completely gone, but as fro nina, she didn't heal at all, she was dying and they needed to get her fast, or hell would be to pay.

They all had taken them to the infirmary, Nina not breathing well and Piotr only was in a coma, for how long was unknown, same goes with Nina.

Soon enough it had been days since Nina woke up, Piotr was still in a coma. He decided he would play it off as a coma till Nina woke up, each night he would able to get the chance to see her, to touch and feel her hand against his, and nothing was of use to him. One morning he stayed in the bed, his breathing still the same till he heard small crashes.

"i-i need to see...I need to see if he's okay.." the female mumbled and sluggishly moved down the hall, roots from outside blocking their pathway she could move along quick yl to piotrs room.

"oh god...piotr im so sorry.." nina began to cry and had fell onto the bed he was layingon, holding o nto his hand had made him open his eyes.
" you did nothing wrong mylove.." 
"they said... tnhey said..."

"i waitedtill you had woke, i wanted t be there when you woke" tears filling her eyes she cried into his chest, for the rest of the day she just laid there, crying into him saying ti was her faukt she got him hurt.

"that doesnt change the fact that..i still love you"
