Matthew 28:19-20 NIV
Therefore GO and MAKE disciples of ALL NATIONS, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
and TEACHING THEM to obey everything I have commanded you.
And surely I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS, to the very end of the age.
LESSONS/REFLECTIONS:
Kakaibang realization of this verse, pero totoo po. Yes, sinabi po ng Panginoong Hesukristo ang paghayo at pagbabahagi ng Salita at pag-ibig ng DIOS sa buong mundo (ALL NATIONS).
Sa totoo lang po, MARAMI ang nakakalimot sa pag-aaralan natin ngayon, kahit ang mga pinuno ng iglesia, some seem to neglect this truth.
FIRST point, let us REALIZE that GOD is a FAMILY-oriented God.
Una kay Adan, binigyan niya ng asawa, si Eva dahil ayaw mag-isa si Adan, at pinayagang magpakarami.
Si Abram, pinasama si Sarai at buong pamilya upang maglakbay sa bayan ng Canaan. Niligtas NIYA si Lot at ang kanyang pamilya.
Yung story niya about "The Prodigal Son", relationship of a father to his son, may kasama pang kuya.
Yung example ni Jesus about sa prayer (Luke 11:11), na hihingi ang anak ng isda sa ama, tapos snake ang ibibigay?
Sa Matthew 6:33, "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your HOUSEHOLD."
Honor your father and mother, children obey your parents in the Lord, fathers do not provoke your children, etc. etc.
And siempre, the Holy Trinity, God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
SECOND point, ALL nations are composed of INDIVIDUAL NATIONS, and INDIVIDUAL NATIONS are composed of REGIONS, REGIONS composed of CITIES or TOWNS, and each TOWN are composed of BARANGAYS and each BARANGAY are composed of FAMILIES.
The FAMILY is the BASIC UNIT of SOCIETY. A family belongs to what we call, ALL NATIONS!
Tama po ba?
I THEREFORE CONCLUDE, DISCIPLESHIP is not JUST outside of homes, in churches, in the streets, in going to missions abroad, DISCIPLESHIP should ALSO happen IN HOMES
Kung ang PASTOR, ang CELL LEADER nagtuturo ng Salita ng Dios sa labas ng tahanan at sa sambahan, sa LOOB ng TAHANAN, lalo na sa mga anak, NAGTUTURO din dapat.
Kung ang WORSHIP LEADER nag li-lead ng worship sa loob ng sambahan, sa LOOB ng TAHANAN dapat nili-lead din NATIN ang ating mga mahal sa buhay, ang ATING PAMILYA to WORSHIP.
Kung sa loob ng church, we USHER, we CLEAN, we PLAY instruments, sa LOOB ng TAHANAN ginagawa din natin iyan.
DAHIL ang DIYOS, kasa-kasama natin, KAHIT SAAN MAN TAYO NAROON GOD is not just a GOD who is present only in CHURCHES, in MEETINGS, in WORSHIP CONCERTS, in CONFERENCES, in MISSIONS
HE is ALSO PRESENT in OUR HOMES.
Because, our HOUSEHOLDS, our LOVED ONES, need that same SALVATION, that same LOVE, that same COMFORT and ENCOURAGEMENTS, that same SPIRITUAL GROWTH, as much as the WORLD needs them.
Gets po ba natin Take note, in the New Testament, early churches, meetings during the apostles time were held in HOMES.
Hallelujah! May every homes, every FAMILY be UNITED together in worshiping and honoring the Lord.
May the head of each families, stand as PRIESTS, leading the household into worship, and intercessors of their loved ones. May each member of the FAMILY grow and mature spiritually TOGETHER, and approach the THRONE OF GOD whole.
