chapter 1

"Luna wake up NOW!!" My mom yelled from down stairs. I opened my silver eyes to see the moon mural on my ceiling. I don't know why but I have always had a connection with the moon.

When I was little my first words were moon goddess mommy. I don't know where mommy came from but maybe it was the fact that that's what they kept telling me to say.

Anyway, I go over to my closet and pick out my outfit for the day(up above)

Black is my favorite and so is sliver. The colors of the night.

Some people say I'm as mysterious as the night. Anyway time for school...Wait today is saturday and it's the first day of summer break.

I run down stairs and quickly eat my breakfast.

" Honey, slow down or your gonna choke." My mom said giving me a confused look.

"Can't.going.to.the.store.with. my Bffs." I said almost choking and trying to eat.

"Have some fun and be careful.some girl was kidnapped" she said to me before I left.

" Mom that was for a news story. To see if little kids would take strangers candy" I told her looking at her like she was crazy and forgot.

"And I will be careful I don't take strangers candy." I said being a smart ass.

"Luna, stop being a smart ass. And goodbye dear" she said as I walked out the front door.

I had to walk to Bailey's place in order to get to the mall.the mall is behind her house. But her mom is gonna drive us. So we don't mess up our clothes walking through the woods.

"BAILEY you ready" I called as u knocked on the door. That's not like her she usually opens the door or calls to me.

"Bails are you OK" this time I ringed the door bell. The door just opened up. So I walked in and what I saw next scared me for life.

There lying in the living room was Bailey's parent's corpses. Scared I ran around looking for Bailey screaming her name at the top of my lungs.

Then the land line rang. I immediately answered it hoping it was Bailey's but I was terriblely wrong.

"Hello, Bailey is this you?" -me
"Hello, Luna if you ever want to see your friend Bailey again un harmed do as u say." -him
"Where is she"- me
" Do we have a deal or not"-him
"Deal... Just tell me where Bailey is"-me
"Good I want your mother's powers"-him
"Who...What...My mom has powers"-me
"Ohh...I thought she would tell you soon. Well then first I want you to go to the library. And look for the book about Greek gods and goddesses. Ok-him
"What are you talking about"-me
"I'll give you more info when you find out your true meaning bye bye Luna for now"-him
