New and Old Collide

"Sooo... did you see any cute boys on the way here?" Sarah pryed.
"No" I lied. I had always been taught that the more you show your feelings the more you get hurt. So that's exactly what I've been doing for quite a long time. I must admit all those years of hiding only hurt others and strangled me.
I sighed. Then I went back to smiling noticing lily's eyes darkened worriedly. Even though lily had only been my friend for three years she was the only one who knew that I hid, from the world, from myself, and from reality. She's been helping me with that though, teaching to feel, teaching me to love, and most importantly teaching me to exept. Honestly... she's probably the one who can read me best. But that makes it extra hard when you want to make sure something is real before you tell someone.
I tried to push down any emotion and said, "Jeese don't look so worried! I'm fine!" I giggled and playfully punched her arm.
"Well... ok." Said Luna hesitantly.
"Why are you so worried worry wart! She's fine!" Sarah giggled her dyed blue hair falling in her face. She gently took the slender curly lock and put it behind her ear.
"Yeah I guess." Luna says doubtfully.
Just as Luna said that the bus screeches to a stop. Luna gets up first then helps Sarah and Catherine. They merged into the bustling pushing crowd. After they got off the bus Catherine saw Jacob.
"Oh! I just remembered! There was this boy at the bus stop and he seemed really nice. Want to meet him?" I said. Sarah and Luna looked at me confused.
"Whatever! just come here!" I said rolling my eyes. I grab their wrists and lead them over to Jacob.
"Hi Cat. What's up?" Jacob said noticing me and my friends.
"I wanted to introduce you to my friends!" I said.
"Hi I'm Sarah" she said.
"And I'm Luna." Luna said shyly.
"Hi. I'm Jacob and this is Aron and Kyle, my friends." Jacob said motioning to a short black haired boy and a medium brown haired boy.
Aron, Kyle and Jacob shook hands with Sarah, Luna, and I.
"Hey Cat, I was wondering if we could all sit together." Jacob said cheerfully.
"Well what do you girls think?" I asked nerviously.
"O-ok." Said Luna.
"Sure!" Said Sarah, "I mean I think we both wouldn't want to miss a chance with this hotty." Sarah added whispering. Sarah winked at me. I blushed. I must admit he was pretty cute. I mean he was strong, had beautiful brown hair, a passion for music, and seemed pretty nice so far.
"Cool do you guys want to eat near the old oak tree? It's really big and gives a lot of shade.
"Sure!" I said. I knew exctly where that was because when I was little my dad and I used to come and play here in the summer.
With that we parted ways to go find our lockers. I found my locker pretty easily, it happened to be
right down the hall from my first class.
I found out that Luna, Aron, and Jacob happened to be in my first period, English. Since we were aloud to chose which team/table we sat at we chose to all sit at a table together.

Ok so hey it's Cat again! So... sorry for another interruption but we had teams because we were at a charter school that promotes teamwork. Now back to the story.

As class went by, well... the teacher kept talking and talking and talking and for a while there it wasn't even about school. Though he realized it and gave us a "worksheet". I mean it was a worksheet it was just one of those bingo cards where instead of numbers and letters it had questions and you had to find the people that these questions applied to. It was kind of complicated so I'm not going to try to explain it, I'd probably just confuse you and myself. So we did that worksheet for the rest of the class period.
The bell rang. It wasn't like the bell at my old school that was high and irrateing, it was a bit lower and actually didn't hurt my ears.
Luna and I walked out of the classroom chatting about the weird worksheet that we completed.
"I'm not even sure I'd call that a worksheet. It was so weird and it's no like it was educational!" Luna said puzzled.
"I know right that was so weird!" I said, "So what's your next class?"
"Science." Luna said, " What your's?"
"Math. I heard that the math teacher is the worst!" I said.
"Yikes! Well, good luck." Luna says as we part ways.
"Thanks!" I called back.
Turns out what I heard was right, the teacher is terrible! He's so boring and while in session it feels like the universe is slowing time down just to torture me. Not only that but ther was no one I knew there! Basically it sucked!
After that period I had social studies. Social studies is my second favorite class. Usually I hated social studies but not only was Luna, Jacob and Aron there, but also we did supper fun activities while learning history at the same time! It was awesome! It was kind of weird though... I noticed that Aron had been staring at me for a bit... oh well that was probably just my imagination.
Anyways... after that was PE my all-time favorite class! I'm not an athlete but I love exersize and I love super cool activities we do at P.E.
After that was when the chaos started. It was lunch and I had grabbed my lunch box and started heading over to the tree.
"Hey Cat!" Sarah shouted running toward me. She wrapped her arms around me making me stumble a bit.
"Luna's on her way over she just needs to pick up her hot lunch." I explained to Sarah. Luna and I had the same 4th period class, P.E., so I wanted to make sure that Sarah didn't get worried about her. Sarah's a bit of a worry - wart.
I sat on the roots that were sitting on the surface of the supporting earth. Sarah sat next to me and once Luna got there she sat on the other side of me. Then Aron sat next to Sarah, Kyle sat next to Luna, and Jacob sat across from me making a circle.
We started chatting and the subjects drifted around.
"So what type of music do you guys like?" Asked Jacob.
"Personally I like pop songs like what Kitty peris sings." Said Sarah.
"I like more of country singers like Tannor Fast." Luna said feeling more comfortable.
"I kind of like a mix of singers. Sometimes I like Melanie Martinez and Digitized Dagers, while other times I like to listen to Vienna Tang or even Marroon 6." I say matter-of-factly. Jacob is staring at me with disbelief.
"She's a bit obsessed with music." Luna said. Sarah giggled. Even Aron chuckled a little bit at the expression on his two friends faces. Kyle knew who Vienna Tang was and thought that it fit my personality, what really threw him off was that I liked Marroon 6. While Jacob knew Melanie Martinez and found it hard to believe I listened to her music since I'm always so happy and she sings more depressing music. Not only that but Jacob was obsessed with Digitized Dagers.
When Jacob and Kyle had finally recovered from shock of the long list.
We all cracked up gasping for breath and chatting about how silly they looked.
That's when it started to turn bad. It turned from a giggling chat into an offended argument.
I'd rather leave it at that for now.
