Catherine And The Black Heart

A New Beginning

Hi my name is Catherine or cat short. The story I'm going to tell you takes place one year ago. I heard that you wanted to hear my story? Well, let me warn you those of you who think that romance is all mushy and gross, you mind as well stop reading here since there is a reason why I call this story Catherine and the black heart.

Anyway, now that I have warned you I mind as well get a tell you my tale. I was 16 when this story took place. It was my first year in high school! I was glad that I got a fresh start since at my old school..... let's just say that there was a rumor that actually was true and I escaped just in time to not get teased about it.

I woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed. Jumped out of bed and declared to the world "I am ready for my first day of high school!!!" Then I realized that my parents and my little sister sophy ( Sophy is 10 years old) were probably still asleep. "Oops" I thought to myself, "I hope I didn't wake them up!" Sure enough, sophy knocked on my door and asked sleepily, "What are you doing? It's 4:00 in the morning!"
"Oh, sorry Sophy I didn't know it was so early. Just go back to bed. Ok?" I replied in a whisper.
"Ok just next time look at the clock first." Sophy said.

Yes I know I'm not like other teenagers. I'm that one teen that you might think is about 11 or 12 from the way I act at school or when thinking of school. Other wise, I'm a perfectly normal teen. Or so I thought.

Now back to the story. I went back to sleep and woke up at a resonable time that time around, so I got ready for school. My mom and dad had already set of for work by the time I was ready for school.

So I went to the bus stop and noticed a boy with beatiful brown hair and sapphire blue eyes, who was about my age, sitting under a tree by the bus stop and listening to music. It was a curious sight, as I walked by he didn't even notice be. He seemed to be totally wrapped up in his thoughts. "Should I try and talk to him or not?" I thought. As if he was reading my thoughts he suddenly noticed me. I blushed and realized that he saw that I was staring at him. He took off his headphones and said "Oh, hi I didn't notice you there."
"H-hi, I actually just got here so I'm not surprised." I replied.
"Oh, well anyway my name's Jacob." He said.
"my name is Catherine but you can call me cat." I replied smiling shyly, "Are you taking the bus to Dusk High too?"
"Yeah. This is my first year of high school. What about you?" Jacob replied.
"Really? Well it's my first year too so we might be in some of the same classes!" I said.
Just as Jacob was about to say reply the bus arrived so he said that he was going to sit with some of his friends from last year. I went to go sit with my friends, lily and Sarah . They could tell something was up when I sat down, so they as usual started trying to get me to tell them what was up.
