Previously

"CLARY"Jonathan said and caught me before I fell.

"Don't worry Clary. I won't let anyone hurt you anymore" he said.

He carried me to my room and laid me down on my bed. He placed me down lightly covered me with blankets, kissed me on my fore head than got up to leave.

"Please don't" I said in a shaking voice "Don't go"

Clary POV

He stopped and turned around. He seemed to be discussing the ordeal with himself. Finally he walked towards the bed and laid down with me. He held me, my head laid on his chest.

Flash Back

"Clary baby I am so sorry" Mum cried

I was shaking and still bleeding

Mum had come back early from work and heard me crying up in the room. She opened up the door and let the light threw. She picked me up and held me.

"Don't worry Clary. I won't let anyone hurt you anymore" she whispered 

Flash Back Over

That was the last time I saw Steve mum got him locked up in jail and beat the living day lights out of him. Jonathan reminded me of mum. I could hear sniffling I looked up too see Jonathan crying.

"Jon?"I said worried

"Im so so-rry"he said with a shaky voice. His eyes were filled with regret. He was different.

"Jonathan what's happening to you?" I asked

"I don't know but for some reason my demon side is gone but everything. I can remember everything I did to you" He said 

"I hurt you, killed Max, hurt you're friends, and almost raped you"He said with shame "I'm no better than Steve or Valentine or anyone"He said while getting up from the bed and grabbing his seraph blade to his throat. 

"Jonathan what are you doing?"I said slowly getting up and walking towards him

"You deserve better. I was meant to protect you. You are my younger sister, I was suppose to suppose too"he repeated looking down at the ground

"It's alright Jon I know that wasn't the real you. Just please. Don't do what you're thinking. Please"I begged desperately 

"I can't live with my self"He said and was about to drive the seraph blade into his heart but I quickly grabbed it and tried to pull against his strength. It was hard and took everything I had left.

"NO YOU DON'T GET TO LEAVE! YOU DON'T GET TO TAKE THE EASY WAY OUT. YOU ARE GOING TO BE A GOOD PERSON MAKE IT UP TO ME AND BE MY BROTHER AND FIX EVERYTHING YOU'VE DONE WRONG" I yelled

"Yo-you just got here"I said with a lot less energy while trying to push against his strength crying "I ne-need you Jonathan" 

He looked up at me. His eyes held hope. He dropped the blade. 

"I ne-need my brother"I said looking up at him

There was a silence but it was quickly broken with him gathering me up in his arms and hugging the daylights out of me. He buried his head in my neck and cried and cried. 

"I promise I- I will make it up to you"he cried
