Gone Wrong
We were a poetic experiment
To blend fantasy with reality
To bring euphoria in the prosaic.
Maybe it was naive of me,
Maybe I should've known,
We could never add aurora in twilit skies
Or hold hands under moon-kissed seas.
This silly old heart should've known,
We're just a poetic experiment gone wrong.
