Twenty: Picture Perfect

That Baka Naruto!

Ino woke up early because she had to help set up the shop for her mother. Since her father had been running around on missions for the past week, her mother had to take extra care of their home leaving Ino in charge of the Yamanaka Flower Shop.

With her usual routine after placing everything where it needed to be, she opened the shop up for business and took her place at the counter. Already bored after two minutes, Ino reached under the counter and retrieved one of her magazines. Ogling over the models in the magazines, Ino suddenly felt as if someone was watching her.

She looked up only to find Sai outside the front of the shop looking in at her. 'Hey. It's Sai. He's looking cuter than normal. Wait...where'd that come from?' Not wanting to seem weird she waves at him. She notices a slight pink tint on his cheeks as he waved and quickly walked away.

'Wait...was Sai...blushing?' Ino thought to herself and then started to notice how cute he was blushing. She then slammed her magazine down on the counter. 'Did I just call Sai cute?' She began to blush herself.

'Wait...why am I blushing?' she goes and grabs a drink of water.

"What the heck is wrong with me today?" she asks herself after finishing her water.

"What do you mean pig?"

Ino turns around seeing Sakura and Hinata walk into the shop. She would have snapped back at Sakura, but before she could everyone hears a loud booming voice screaming, "I......WHAAAAAAAAAAAAT!?"

They all look at each other with sweat drops.

Hinata raises her hand to speak but still doesn't have words to explain the randomness of that yell. She lowers her hand as Sakura ponders her brain trying to figure out which shinobi made that outburst.

Ino, however, is staring out the window confused. 'Why is Sai-kun screaming like that? And why did I just add -kin to Sai-Kim's name? Wait...I just did it again. Crap. What is wrong with me?' Ino ponders for a bit forgetting her friends are even in the shop.

She turns around and nearly jumps out of her skin at the sight of them. "When did you....? Never mind." Hinata giggles at Ino. Ino smiles at Hinata. "Hinata, why are you making fun of me?"

Hinata's face turns to light shock, "I...I w-wasn't....I-Ino...its j-just...you l-look like you s-saw a g-ghost."

Sakura starts laughing. "It really did Ino. Are you alright? Need us to watch the shop for you while you go get some rest or a bite to eat?"

Ino shakes her head. "No I can manage. However, the bite to eat part does sound like a great idea. Hinata would you mind cooking us some breakfast? Puuuuuuuleeeeeeeeeease?" She asks with puppy dog eyes.

Hinata giggles again. "Ino....you...look...so...silly." Hinata barely manages to say in between giggles. Ino pinches her cheek. "You are so adorable."

After Hinata cooks and Ino tends to a few customers, including Shikamaru, who came to grab some flowers for Asuma, they sit down and enjoy their meal.

"So, Hinata. Told Naruto yet?" Ino asks suddenly. Hinata chokes a bit on her food and a deep blush appears on her face. Sakura snickers. "Nope. We saw him and Sai earlier and she could barely look at him. That is until that bastard Sai called me ugly again." Sakura says with an urk mark appearing on her forehead.

Fr some odd reason, Ino get a bit annoyed when Sakura calls Sai a bastard. "Forehead, next time you refer to Sai-kun....leave BASTARD out of your list of descriptions." she snaps back before she can even realize what she did. Too bad for her, the girls noticed this.

"Wow Ino. Didn't know you cared so much for him." Sakura says as a joke.

Ino gets flustered and begins to rival Hinata's blush. "It's n-not what y-you t-think!" She says as her blush deepens. Hinata notices the blush and smiles at Ino. She places her hand on Ino's shoulder. "Ino. It's o-okay if y-you l-like Sai-kun."

Ino glares at Hinata. "No offense Hinata. But please don't call him Sai-kun like that." she snaps again but covers her mouth. Too late.

Sakura and Hinata squeal like maniacs.

Sakura stands up and points at Ino with determination, "Ino-pig! You like Sai!"

Ino blushes even more, now covering her face in her hands. "Just....shut up...forehead."

Hinata says lightly, "Ino...is it t-true?"

Ino looks at Hinata through her fingers and asks herself, 'Wait...do I like Sai-kun?'

Before she can answer, Naruto bursts in the shop with an unconscious Sai on his back. "Sakura-chan! Ino-chan....oh, hey Hinata!" he says once he sees that she is there too.

Ino and Sakura facepalm as Hinata waves while blushing staring at the ground. "Baka!" they say together. Ino then notices the bruises all over Sai's body and face. She immediately gets worried. 'Oh no! Sai-kun.'

She frowns at Naruto. "What did you do?" she growls a bit angrily. Naruto nervously chuckles. "Uh...we were training with Kakashi-sensei...and I kinda...went....overboard."

Ino fumes as Sakura stomps towards Naruto. "You....IDIOT!!!! Hospital! NOW!!!"

Naruto scurries away high tailing it to the hospital before Ino and Sakura can injure him.

They make it to the hospital and Sakura scolds Naruto for being so reckless.

Ino, however, walks over to Sai in her hospital uniform and begins to heal him with her medical jutsu. 'Sai-kun, please be okay.' She thinks looking down at him for a moment before fully concentrating on healing him. 'When this is over...I'm gonna kill that baka Naruto.'

Two days have passed and Sai finally wakes up. He feels a hand holding his and looks over to see Ino with her head lipping on the bed near his arm while holding his hand. He looks at her in shock and says to himself, 'B-beautiful?'
