"So, um, what do we do next? I still have to be at Mila's..." Looking down at my purple wristwatch, I started to panic. "I was supposed to be there two hours go! What the hell?" Scrambling up off the floor of the bathroom, I pushed past the two to grab my coat and Makkachin, before throwing open the door and booking it down the hall. "I better be there in ten minutes!" Mila had a particular time schedule she liked to keep track of, even though she didn't seem like the kind of person to care.

Running top speed down the street back to Viktor's apartment, I threw myself in my car, throwing Makkachin in with me. I might as well take the dog with me if Viktor was only going to pay attention to the talented, pretty, for the most part sexy, Vivienne.

"Come on, Makkachin. I'll take you back to Viktor later! I don't have time to wait for them!"

Reversing out of the driveway and onto the street, I (almost, but didn't) Anastasiyahe way, taking a sharp left, then a sharp right to Mila's street. I was in big trouble. Lotta and Mila were standing in the driveway, hands on hips, one eyebrow raised, and lips pursed. "Shit," Pulling into the driveway, I stepped out, dragging Makkachin behind me.

"Tatiana Anastasiya Elora Ember Darby!" Lotta barked at me, a very frustrated and angry look on her face.

"Nice to see you, too, Loraline Annabeth Ulani Kikuo," Sarcasm hinting my voice, I strutted past the two females, ignoring their sharp steel glares digging into my skin.

"Why do you have Makkachin?" A Russian accent filled my ears, drawing my attention for a moment. "What happened, Tatiana?"

"So, yeah..." I faded off, bringing the hot cocoa mug to my lips again, Makkachin slamming himself against the table to get my attention.

"Wow. And explain to me why you left them alone?" Lotta furrowed her eyebrows, slitting her eyes, and turning her head ever-so-slightly to the side.

"Um, well...Mila likes to follow a time schedule?" Gesturing limply at Mila, I awkwardly smiled back at the two females, both wearing the 'are you kidding me?' look.

"No, I don't. You're the one who wants to follow all that weird timey stuff," Mila pointed an accusing finger at my face, which had drained from all color.

"Well, I suppose I don't have an excuse for that," With a shrug, I leaned so far back into my chair, I fell on the floor, a groan escaping my lips. "But," Pausing and sitting up to rub my head, I held a finger to the redhead Russian. "You wanted me here two hours ago, so I came. It's not entirely my fault that I left."

"Two! Hours! Two hours, Tatiana!" Lotta held up two fingers in my face, leaning over me with a disapproving look on her face. "That's a long time! You could've just stayed with that woman and Viktor all night!"

"That 'woman' annoys the bejesus out of me! She drives me up the wall and back down a million times!" Standing right up, I glared at Lotta, placing my hands on my hips.

"Fine! Mila and I will go back to the hotel and find them!" Lotta turned on her heel, garbbing Mila and dragging her all the way outside, not looking back at all. Sighing, I knelt down by Makkachin, patting his head gently.

"'Fine, Mila and I will go back to the hotel and fine them!'" I mocked Lotta, using my hand as her mouth. "She thinks it's my fault that Vivienne seduced Viktor."

"Viktor Nikiforov! You can't just go around following sexy women! I expected a lot more from you!" I heard the front door fly open, and Lotta's voice filled my ears, causing me to cringe.
"Huh? What's going on?" I poked my head around the corner of the hallway, looking at a scared and shaking Viktor being loomed over by Lotta. Mila wasn't present, causing me to furrow my brows.

"Nikiforov decided to be a dummy, and follow a strange woman without his own dog! Makkachin is your responsibility!" Poking Viktor right in the chest, Lotta angrily turned towards me, her fists clenched tightly as she stormed past me.

"You could've at least brought Makkachin with you," Winking at Viktor, I walked up to him, holding out a hand to help him up. "He's getting old, isn't he?" Looking in the direction of the hallway, I shoved a hand in my pocket, smiling softly at my silverette friend.

"Sometimes I'm afraid that if I leave him for too long, he'll be dead when I come back," Viktor said softly, his blue eyes directed downwards. The look on his face made me hurt. Makkachin was getting old, almost eleven now. The poodle had been with Viktor for so long, I couldn't believe he was still walking.

"Wanna see him? He's been antsy to see you since I left the hotel," Giving Viktor a fake smile, I grabbed his arm and led him down the hallway, to a tired looking Makkachin. As soon as the brown poodle spotted us, he bolted towards Viktor, barking happily.

"Makkachin!" The delight on Viktor's face warmed me as he leaned his face towards Makkachin's mouth to get licked by the big dog. "Have you been a good boy?"

"He has! 'Been slamming himself into the table the last thirty minutes, though. I thought he was doing it to get my attention," With a shrug, I knelt down by Viktor to pat Makkachin's fluffy brown head of curls. "So, what does Vivienne want?"

"Hmm," Viktor turned towards me, his eyes reluctantly following the same path. "Not clear." He lied. He facade never worked on me. Never.

"Liar. I'll be back," Standing up, I gave Viktor a quick pat on the shoulder before walking into the front room, where an annoyed Mila stood.

"I can see why you wanted to leave. That woman is standoffish, obnoxious, better than me, sexier than me, smarter than me, taller than me, one-upping me every single time I say something." The redhead said flatly, her arms crossed, as though she were waiting for something.

"Exactly, girl. What're you waiting for?" I raised my eyebrows, leaning against a side table, filled with sunglasses, paper, and keys.

"I invited a friend and her sister," Mila replied. "Both German. I think they were at your last competition...The Kraus family?"

"Shit." Was all I said back. This was gonna be one hell of a night.
