Lucy's POV
"So, this is the place huh?" I said, stepping out of a black Sudan onto a gravel lot. 'The place' I was talking about, was a run down factory warehouse that looked like it'd seen better days. With broken widows and black mold, the four story factory held nothing of worth to Edolas City. And the dreary October weather didn't exactly make it look any more majestic.
It was originally a factory meant to manufacture cars, but closed down due to the decline of the people's demand. Now it sits on more than a hundred acres of land, just waiting to crumble into dust.
But that wasn't going to happen today.
"Yes," the person driving, Scorpio, answered. He stood next to me before turning around and giving directions to the three dark red vans that followed us. A man in a black suit with a red tie, the signature color of Scorpio, walked up to his boss to receive his orders. "Take those inside. And make sure they're well guarded. I don't want an ambush on us, whether Leo said it's safe or not."
"Yes sir," The man said and relayed the orders through his walkie.
"Are you sure this is a good idea?" I asked as I turned my head toward Scorpio.
"Any kinda deal that Leo is involved in is never a good idea," My mentor answered. He looked up at the looming building but quickly walked ahead. Not wanting to be left behind, I followed. "But, who am I to disobey my boss?"
Two large bay doors were already opened as we walked inside, the dark red vans quickly driving past us and further into the warehouse. They weren't alone for long, a large semi truck pulled in behind us and made it's way over to the vans. Next, three black Sudans parked themselves in a sort of small arc around the truck. All the doors opened and men stepped out, immediately giving orders in what to do.
Scorpio looked on with a frown and arms folded, "This wasn't what I expected." I easily guessed he didn't like it when his own men were ordered around by anyone but him. Any gang leader was a stickler about that.
"Ah, Scorpio. So you actually came." Scorpio, along with myself, turned our heads to see a very familiar face walk up to us. The person had crazy green hair with dark sunglasses, she smirked in our direction. "You know how Leo is with drops like this."
Libra??!!
I didn't know if I wanted to say anything for fear of Libra finding out one of her students was into the gangster business. She was blind so, as long as she didn't hear me, I was safe.
Libra, looking on to the direction of the vans and people, spoke in an even tone, "Lucy, didn't think you would show up to one of these things. I thought you weren't into these kinds of deals."
Scorpio raised an eyebrow in my direction, "You guys know each other?"
"Uh..." I awkwardly began. "Sort of...yeah."
Again, without missing a beat, Libra answered, "I'm her Home Economics teacher."
I felt like melting into the floor, who knew one of my teachers was gang affiliated. Well, I couldn't be too surprised, we all called her Libra anyway and celestial names were sort of a way of hinting you were a gang leader. Wait a minute, does that mean my gym teacher is in the gangster business?
My mentor awkwardly coughed to break the silence, "Oh...I see. Lucy, I....didn't know you went to school?"
I shrugged, "You didn't ask."
"Well, you always hated it when I brought it up, so I thought you never would join."
"Trust me," I said, a dark tone laced in my voice, "my opinion hasn't changed."
