We went through the door and a smiling Niall greeted us. I couldn't help myself but to smile back.

"Hey Brontë!"

He hugged me! Two seconds after my arrival and all my senses were already giving in. I hugged him back and it felt so nice. He definitely was the best hugger ever. He smelled good too. When he let go, he looked me in the eyes, smiled and then turned at Caroline and gave her a small hug. She smiled in response. He closed the front door and gestured that we should follow him, so we did.

We followed him to what seemed to be the living room. Harry was sitting on the couch and Louis was standing next to him. They were both looking our way. When they saw us they smiled and got up to give us both a hug.

"Hey! You're Brontë, right?"

I nodded. Harry looked at me and laughed.

"It's nice to see the girl he was talking about nonstop since yesterday!"

I think I blushed. I saw Niall shooting a warning glance at Harry.

"Just saying!" Harry half-smiled, trying to stay serious.

I laughed. Harry was adorable. Caroline introduced herself, since Niall forgot to ask who she was yesterday. Louis and Harry hugged her to and I saw she really tried to control her happiness. We all went to sit on the sofa, when we suddenly heard a loud noise.

"Au!"

Everyone frowned.

"Are you guys okay up there?"

Harry walked to the bottom of the stairs. The boys all had a worried expression on their face until we heard someone laughing really hard. It made us curious, so we followed the sound of laughter. When we arrived upstairs, we saw Liam rolling with laughter, while Zayn was buried under a huge pile of books and a shelf on top. Everyone started to laugh and it was funny seeing Zayn failing to free himself.

"It's not funny guys. Help me out!"

The guys kept on laughing.

"Guys, come on! It's not funny!"

"It is actually!", Liam said, while standing up to help his friend.

When Zayn got up, he immediately grabbed Liam.

"Don't prank me! It's not funny!", Zayn said, although he was laughing too.

"Stop it guys, save it for later. Look who's here!"

Zayn and Liam stopped and looked at us. Niall introduced us.

"That's Caroline and this is Brontë."

"Ah! Finely we meet the girl Niall hasn't stopped talking about!"

"And her friend!", Zayn added with a smile.

"Hi", we each said as we hugged them.

<Caroline's point of view>

I hugged Zayn and he smiled at me. It took me an awful lot to stay calm. I was on the edge of going numb and being over excited. My heart almost pounded out of my chest and I was starting to worry someone might hear it.

"What were you actually doing under a stack of books?", Niall asked.

"Well, what did it look like? They fell on me of course! I was trying to reach the top shelf and someone did me the favor of tipping over the loose one!"

He glanced at Liam.

"Aw, are you okay babe? Do I need to give you a little kiss to make the pain go away? Do you want a kiss from boobear? Let me give you a kiss!"

"No thanks, I'm fine Lou."

Louis started to attack Zayn with kisses, so he ran off.

"Come back here! Let me love you!!"

We laughed as the two guys ran off.

"They'll be back. Let's go back downstairs."

Niall was basically suffocating with laughter. I saw Brontë smile at that. She was usually happy, but now, she looked even happier than usual. She liked Niall and I knew we were going to scream of happiness when we were back at the hostel.

Downstairs, we laughed about the incident for a while until the guys came back.

"So, how was the make-out session?"

Louis put his arm around Zayn, kissed him on the cheek and stated that it had been lovely.

Niall immediately shook of laughter. We all laughed again as Zayn was trying to free himself from Lou's arms. They sat down with us on a few black leather couches. Brontë was sitting between Niall and Liam, and Harry sat next to me. Zayn chose the other side of me and because Louis didn't want to sit alone, he commanded all of us to move over. That way, I wasn't sitting between Harry and Zayn anymore, I was practically squeezed between them. We all talked for a while and the guys asked a lot of questions about us. Brontë made me admit that I played piano. I shot her a why-did-you-say-that glance when she did, because I was not that good and these guys were musicians, which meant they were interested in music and probably liked to hear me play. Of course they immediately asked me to, since they had a piano in their house, but I admitted I sucked at it. After a while of struggling, Zayn made me promise to play another time. I found that a bit odd, because then I would have to be there again. It made me smile a little. They said they wouldn't forget that promise, but I actually hoped they would. I felt nervous enough playing in front of my own family, let alone in front of One Direction!

After a lot of talking, it was getting late. It was time for us to go. Niall suggested that they should take us to our hostel, but we said we would be fine. After all, we didn't want to bother them too much. We hugged them all goodbye. When we were about to leave, Niall also asked if we had something planned the day after tomorrow. We answered that we didn't, so he invited us to come over again then. We gladly accepted and went back to the hostel. We tried not to scream on the subway, because there were a lot of random strangers surrounding us and they would probably think we were insane. Back in the hostel, we screamed in our pillows, trying not to get complaints from neighbors. We fangirled excited all night and didn't fall asleep until deep in the night. We even had forgotten to eat dinner.

The next morning, I woke up with stomach ache. I was really hungry. Sleepily, I looked at my clock: 11:07. I was immediately wide awake. We had missed breakfast.

"Shit! Brontë get up!"

I started to shake her. She didn't wake up, so I pushed her out of the bed.

"What the hell! Caroline! Why did you do that?"

"We missed breakfast!"

"What?"

"It's passed eleven."

"Why did you wake me up then? We already missed it."

"I don't know. I thought I might share the news with you."

"Ugh."

She got out of bed and started to dress herself. She really wasn't in a good mood in the morning, but I felt I had caused it this time.

"I'll make you smile again in no time. One word: Niall."

She looked at me and indeed, she smiled.

"You know me well."

We laughed and were in ahappy mood when we went out for brunch. We found a nice pub nearby and had agood meal. We discussed more details from the day before. We couldn't waituntil we returned. We went out and decided to keep ourselves occupied with amuseum. We were a little bored, so walked around until dinner time. We atedinner at our hostel and in the evening we watched a movie on Brontë's laptop. We were getting excited again when Brontë remembered that we were invited to the boys' house the next day. Theytold us we could come over whenever we wanted. They were going to stay in thehouse anyway. To be safe, I set up an alarm on my phone. I wouldn't likemissing breakfast again.a
