I was woken up by a lot of noise. I saw Brontë sitting, dressed, looking at her laptop.
"What's going on? Why are you awake?"
"Oh, you're finely awake! Good! Go get dressed so we can go eat breakfast."
I realized later that the noise I woke up from, were some kids screaming in the hallway. I picked out a light top and skinny jeans. After breakfast, we decided to wait a few hours before going to them. It was only morning and we didn't want to wake them up.
After a light lunch, we took the subway to our destination. We were welcomed with hugs from everyone. They looked stunning today, as always. We hung around and talked, but soon there were more pauses and we got a little bored. Zayn came up with the idea of guiding us around the house. We got to see their rather messy rooms. I saw the piano in a room with a balcony. The boys really wanted me to play something they even made me sit down and they put my hands on the keys, but I refused.
"You will play us something sometime. No matter how, we will make you play something, so you might as well do it now."
Of course everyone agreed with Louis, but I refused. They cannot make my fingers dance around on the notes to play something nice. I really didn't like that Brontë made me confess it. Now I was stuck with this problem for a while. After the tour, we had nothing to do again, until Liam had Twister in his hands. Brontë doubted at first, but she was easily convinced. She did warn them that her balance wasn't great. They didn't quite believe it, but I knew Brontë meant what she said. It wasn't on a normal basis or anything, but when there was for example ice involved, I wouldn't argue. A plastic carpet was most likely to be as difficult as ice for her. With seven we played the game, so we already didn't have much space to begin with. In the beginning, it wasn't that hard, my hands and feet were in a quite comfortable position, compared to other times I had played this game. It was a little harder for Brontë. Her hand was next to her feet and she struggled to keep balance. Niall had one free hand, so he tried to help her keep her balance. It didn't actually help much, I thought, but it was a cute gesture. At one point, Zayn had to reach a dot on the other side of me where Louis was standing. Louis didn't want to move over. Eventually, I landed on the floor, as Louis pushed Zayn and they fell on top of me. It triggered a chain reaction. Everyone was on the floor after that. Zayn apologized and asked if I were okay, but I assured him I was. He still gave me a hug to make it up. We replayed the game a few more times until Niall started to get hungry.
Then we realized it was already 7:30 pm. Niall wanted us to stay over for dinner. We agreed, so he and Brontë went out to get some food from Nando's. I didn't go with them because they probably wanted to have some alone time, and I wouldn't want to take such an opportunity from her, so I let them go. That did put me in a tricky situation. I was alone with Liam, Harry, Louis and Zayn, four guys who seemed to go crazier by the minute. Niall and Brontë had only left for a few minutes and the guys were already dancing like idiots to some song I didn't know. I laughed so hard, my stomach hurt. I begged them to stop, but they just went on and on until they were too tired of laughing. I couldn't look at them anymore without the memories returning. I think they had it too because every time I started to laugh again, they chuckled along. We had fun so time passed quickly. Ten minutes became fifteen, fifteen minutes became half an hour.
"How far is Nando's from here? Shouldn't they have been back by now?"
"When Niall gets distracted, it can take him up to an hour to return from a ten-minute trip."
"Or he's already eating all the food."
The guys agreed on that. I felt a little better, since the guys found it normal for them to be late. Besides, Brontë was probably glad to spend some time with Niall, so I let the worried thoughts go. It didn't stop a feeling of hunger from spreading. After a while, they asked me if I liked gaming. I told them I did, so we went upstairs to a room with six computers. They started up Minecraft. They asked whether I knew it, I said I didn't. They set up a new account for me and introduced me to their creations. It was a fun game, building houses and exploring caves, even though I died a hundred times. It made them laugh though, because I screamed the first few times. I pretty much jump at anything even half unexpected. I didn't want to put in the effort to actually get good at playing with bricks, so after a while the dying got tiring. I decided to watch them roam around their world over their shoulders. The only thing left bugging me was the general silence.
