Chapter 11~ Battling and Backstabbing

A/N: Geeze its been like forever since I've written. I posted the first chapter of Betrayals of the Heart <3. its basically how Hikari was named Hikari. I really hope you all read it because it going to be helpful in the events to come. BTW I was taking tests for my dancing last weekend ( that why I haven't written in awhile) and i got top marks it all of my tests! GO ME!!!!!! its make me really excited. well its time to move on to some battling with the striaton gym leaders.

~~~~~~~ No Ones POV~~~~~~~

Cilan narrows his eyes at the challengers from across the way.

" Alright then, you're on! Go Pansage!" Cilan yells as he throws his pokeball and a leaf clad pokemon emerges. Both Cress and Chili release similar creature.

" Panpour,"

" Pansear"

Hikari smirk, this was going to be just as she had expected.

" You guys ready to fight!" She ask Red and Silver." Lets go lyth and show them what were made of!" Hikari release Growlithe from its pokeball. Silver releases his Feraligatr and Red releases his Venusaur. The leaders and their challengers moved over to a dirt field at the back of the cafe and stand opposite each other.

" let the Battle begin!"

~~~~~~~ Hikari's POV~~~~~~~

" Lyth use Flamethrower!" I command my pokemon.

" Pansage dodge and use bullet seed!" Cilan command his pokemon. Before I could react his Pansage was already behind Lyth and pelting it with its bullet seeds.

" No Lyth! gurrrr! use Roar!" I growl angrily. Lyth lets out a tremendous roar that shook the gym/cafe. Everyone inside covers their ears from the sound.

"Hey can you keep it down over their I'd kinda like to hear after this is done!" I hear silver complain off to my left. this seemed to amuse Cilan, and he smiles brightly.

" Now Hikari, do you really think that trick was going to work for a second time." I grimace at his words. *He's right that the same trick that I used last time that I had fought him. Not somthing I like to remember.*

" I was hoping I'd get lucky and you would forget all about that. Lyth use Roar once more!" I retort back at Cilan. This time I can hear Red protesting.

" I'd have to agree with Silver! could you turn down the volume a little bit." Red sounded angry but who cares I was going to win this fight.

" Pansage use dig!" Cilan commands just before Lyth lets out another ear shattering roar. *Where did pansage go?* I search the battlefield for the green monkey pokemon and my eyes come to rest on it trainer who still had a smile on his face. * No it couldn't be...*

" Lyth look out below you!" I scream eagerly at my pokemon, but it was too late. Before Lyth could move the opposing pokemon came out of the ground and sent my pokemon flying, much to my dismay. Suddenly a blinding flash is emitted from Red's side of the field.I cover my eyes against the brightness and growl in anger.* Really Red! Really! this is you pay back. couldn't you think of something better than blinding us all.* I open my eyes and the battlefield comes back into my sight. Lyth was still disoriented by the light.* This is going just like the last time at this rate I'm going to lose to him again! I Just hoped that the others were doing ok in their battles. If they keep complaining like they had been then I bet they're ok.*

I Face the gym lead in front of me. Cress the water type used. I open my pokedex to check his pokemon's data.
