~~~~~~~Hikari's POV ~~~~~~~
    Alex, as he called himself, was standing casually leaning against the building across from us, despite the fact that we had just been running for what could have possibly been our lives. He appeared to be slightly older than the Silver and I and was dress almost completely in black. He reminded me a ninja from one of those martial art movies I used to watch with Natural. His black hair was slightly long and it hung in his eyes which were a brilliant shade of green similar to Cilan's.
    "How do you know about team Rocket?" Silver asked harshly, taking a step toward Alex. I touched silver's arm. After briefly glancing at me Silver retracted, however, he was still on his guard. I glanced to the street nervously, looking for any signs that we were still being followed. When I looked back, my gazes was meet by bright greens one that glittered with intensity. Alex softened his gaze when he evidently noticed the fear in my eye's, and he gestured for the two of us to follow him.
"Come on, follow me. It's not safe here." I took a step to follow after him, but Silver held my arm.
"We need to leave; We can't trust him," he whispered harshly. "We need to find Red and Yellow."  I looked at Alex's back as he almost completely melted into the shadow's. I can't quite explain it, but I felt like I could trust this stranger and I placed my free hand over Silver.
"I have a feeling, I think we can trust him." Simultaneously Silver and I turned out heads to the street at the sound of hurried feet connecting with the pavement. With seemingly no other choice, the two of us followed Alex and he lead us through a labyrinth of back alleys and obscure streets till we plunged into the forest just outside the city limits. I had to duck to escape some low hanging branches, but we eventually came to a rock overhang where a small backpack and sleeping bag her laid out.
"Do you live here?" My curiosity getting the better or me.
"It's temporary till I can complete my assignment," Alex answered.
"Why did you bring us here?" Silver said quickly before I could ask my thousands of other burning questions. Alex let out a healthy sigh.
"You two certainly ask a lot of questions. If you would give me a minute to think this out, I would be happy to explain what you two have become involved in."
"We don't have a minute if they find us-" Silver growled low and menacing.
"Trust me this will literally be the last place they check."Alex retorted with a bitter edge to his voice.
"What do you mean by that?" I foolishly said after he had just asked for quite. Alex sat down beside his sleeping bag and placed his head in his hands. After rubbing his eyes he looked up at us.
"The two of you are in serious danger. There are some bad people looking for you.
"Tell me us something we don't know!" Silver and I said in unison. Alex hung his head.
"Right, well, it may be worse than you know. I work with the interregional Police, and I was sent on an assignment, and that Assignment involves me bringing Miss Hill to my headquarters in the Kanto Region."
"You work for the Police!?" I backed up quickly and Silver, oddly, put his hand on one of his pokeballs, ready for a fight.
"Wait!" Alex raised both of his hand up as if he was surrendering. "I didn't come to arrest you, I came to protect you." He pleaded. The both of us relaxed slightly but didn't come any closer to him. "Our sources have told us that Team rocket has joined forces with team plasma. We got word that the key to their plans was the daughter of Team plasma's leader; you miss Hill." slowly I sat down on a nearby fallen log. "Why me?" I asked. "We don't know what they're planning. Just yet, I was hoping that you knew why." I paused, and thought back to what Natural had said on the Ferris wheel. I had an idea what father was planning, but I could bring myself, for some odd reason, to tell Alex what my brother had told me. Instead I lied.
"I don't know. I ran away from home not too long ago, and before I ran away... let's just say, my father isn't the sharing type; He never told me anything." Alex mused over what I had said then looked as if he was deep in thought. Silver turned to me and placed his hand on my upper arm gently.
"Hikari, I really think we should leave; We need to tell the others and get out of here." Silver glanced towards the dark forest in the direction of the city.
"But, what if he can help with whoever was chasing us Silver. Natural was there with me, what if they caught him because of me!"
"Hikari, he is from the interregional police. You, you were part of Team Plasma. If they are now in league with Team rocket then, he could only be here to arrest you." Silver's eyes were piercing and there was something showing in them; Concern? Fear? Sympathy? I couldn't figure out what it was.
"He said he wasn't here to arrest me."
"You're just going to believe him?!" Silver's hold on my arm tightened as if he wanted to drag me away. Glancing at his hand on my arm I placed my hand over his and looked back fiercely at him; resolved.
"I don't see why not."
"Hikari, you-"
"First We need to get out of this City, will you let me help you get that Far?" Alex, apparently listening to our whispered conversation finally spoke. Silver, let go of my arm and I stood up from the log. I looked at Silver and silently asked him my unspoken question. A few tense second's passed before silver nodded his head reluctantly.
"We need to get our friends first then we can leave," I told Alex. Alex bit his lip before responding.
"We can't bring them." I looked at Alex in disbelief. When I opened my mouth to protest Alex cut me off. "You don't want to involve them, do you? Believe me, it best if they don't come with us."
"Fine, where are we going?"
~~~~~~~ Yellow's POV ~~~~~~~

I was woken by a knock at the door. I opened my eyes groggily and checked the clock; 6:04 AM. Another frantic knock came from the other side of the door.

"Yellow! Yellow wake up!"

"Coming!" I slid out of bed and padded my way to the door. When I opened the door I hastily tried to fix my hair.

"Umm, Hi Red, what bring you here so early in the morning?" I fidgeted.

"Yellow, thank god! Silver is gone." Red say in a panic. That woke me up.

"What do you mean gone? maybe he just went out for some food, you know how he is."

"This is different. All of his stuff is gone, and I asked around, and no one has seen him this morning." I placed my hand gently on his arm to calm him down.

"It's ok Red, Hikari probably knows where he went off to; let's ask her. Motioning Red inside I turned to Hikari's bed to wake her up. I blinked a couple of times before The realization him. I gasped and looked around the room, but I couldn't find her. Just Like Red had said, all of Hikari's things were gone. I raced to the bathroom, however,  nothing but my toothbrush was in there. When I came out, Red was picking a piece of paper up off the coffee table in my middle of the room. He read it silently. Then looked at me sadly. Racing over to him I grabbed the paper out of his hand and started to read.

Dear Yellow,

I'm sorry things turned out like this, but Silver and I have to leave. Some things have happened, and it's not safe for you to be here with us. I can't tell you much, but these people are bad and they're working with my father. This may be the last time you hear for me, so I hope you have a happy life full of joy, and I hope you and Red can finish your journey together. It was nice to have someone I can talk to around, if only for a little bit.  Goodbye.

~ Hikari

I crumpled the paper in my hand and looked at Red. He smiled sadly and nodded. Confirming that this was real. As if in a trance I moved to the window and looked out over Nimbasa city and the rising sun. I felt as if a hole had opened in my heart. Gently, Red came to my side. I looked up at him, and he slowly wrapped his arms around me. Safely in his arms, I started to cry silent tears.
