Hikari's POV

Several days had passed since the brothers had gone to their meeting in Driftveil. Red, Yellow, Silver and I had decided to stay in town 1 more day before heading west towards Castella City. After leaving Striaton City we passed through Nacrene City. Red, Silver and I earned out Basic Badges from the gym leader Lenora, while Yellow stayed back with her pokemon to play with the children at the daycare along route 3. We kept moving along at a steady pace through Pinwheel forest till we existed the foliage to stand on a cliff overlooking Castella City.

" Wow! Look how big it is! I've never seen so many people in one place before." I say mesmerized by the metropolis. The wind blows gently, sweeping my hair around my face. I soak in the cool breeze even though its the middle of winter. From somewhere behind me Red speaks.

" You mean you've never been here before? I thought you lived here in Unova Hikari." Red asks. I turn around to face the others.

" My father and brother-" My voice trails off when I mention the family I once had. I can feel tears start to spring up but I hold them back. " I was never allowed to venture farther than Striaton City. This is the farthest away I've ever been." I finish my answer and turn back to the overview of the City. We all stand quietly and take in the sight. From my understanding it was also their first time visiting Castella City as well. I finally broke the silence.

"Well, are we going or not?" I turn around and smile excitedly at my companions. Out of the corner of my eye I catch Silver avoiding my eyes and looking at the ground. *I wonder what's wrong with him? Hope he isn't sick.* Like the little child inside of me I run towards the bridge which a nearby sign named as the Skyarrow bridge.

" Wait up Hikari!" Red and Yellow both yell as they chase after me.

" Well than hurry up Slowpoke's!" I can hear Silver returning back to his old self, grumbling with his hand in his pockets. It sounded faintly like he was calling us children. Well then, that was fine with me. I stick my tongue out childishly at him and again he avoid my gaze. I frown, what was his problem. Instead of letting it get to me, I forge my way towards the end of the bridge. We exit the bridge and enter the busy streets.

" Maybe we should find the pokemon center first and get some rooms before they all fill up for the night." Yellow suggests. We all agree and proceed to weave our way in and out of hundreds of people till we reach our destination. We get 2 adjoining rooms that share on balcony, so that we could be close together. One room for Yellow and I and another for Red and Silver. We enter our respective room and I melt onto my bed.

" It feels so good! We've been walking all day!" I exclaim and stretch out along the length of my bed. I hear a couple of cracks and my body relaxed into the folds of my bedsheets. Yellow take off her hat and sets it on her bed then proceeds to sit down on her bed. She retches up and undoes her hair. It cascades down her shoulders and she starts to comb through it with her fingers. Everything was silent except for Yellow's gentle humming. I was soon lead into a the world between sleep and consciousness. My eyes felt heavy and I gratefully closed them and concentrated on nothing but the sound of Yellow's voice. I was rudely shaken out of my tranquil state of being, by the rattle of a pokeball. I sigh, I knew who that was. I take out the rattling pokeball and push the button. Out of the red beam appeared Eve who I had decided against her will, to put back into her pokeball.

" Vee!" She cried angrily before curling up on the couch on the other side of the room. I sigh, and realize that Yellow had stopped humming and was watching me.
