I really, really, really am sorry. I have kept you waiting on this chapter, and for that I truly am sorry... I have kinda screwed this story but I'm going to do my best in this chapter to fix it. so I apologize in advanced if things get confusing or if they already are. the reason I haven't updated this story is because I have been working on my story "Betrayals of the Heart" which I find is going better then this story. I'd check it out if you like this story. it was supposed to be a prequel but its kinda closer to being a spin off or alternate universe thats only slightly different to this story. ok ok I think that you have all had enough of my rambling lets move on the less than stellar chapter that should fix this story.

N's POV
*Damn, their right behind me!* I curse bitterly under my breath as I run through the forest. I'd been running ever since Ghetsis had captured me back at the castle. I had managed to escape the dungeons because of the help or one of the grunts that attended me, but that wasn't enough to escape father, it seems. I was almost caught once again after hearing father speak in Accumula town. I was found and chased into an alley, it was only thank to a stray Purloin roaming the street's, that I was able to escape. I had lost count of how many days it'd been since I had evaded my prison, and here I was again running for my life from the father that had raised me. I had to stop him from reaching Hikari and convincing her to do his bidding. one false move on my part and the world could be destroyed.
I dart behind a tree to rest from all the running I'd been doing lately. I take deep breaths trying to quiet my breathing. * I can't believe i'm hiding behind a tree, they already know I am hiding in this forest. It's only a matter of time till they find me. I don't think there's a place in the world I can hide! * I wallow in my own stupidity and rub my temples. The headache was returning. I could hear all of their voices swirling around of my head. The voice of the pokemon that lived in this forest, filled my ears with their restless chatter. If there was ever a time I needed to take a nap more than anything, it would be right now. I let out a sigh and decided to listen closer to the voice of the pokemon and try to get the position of my followers.
I sifted through the voices, finding one after another that pokemon weren't all that into human gossip. I finally hear something interesting from a pokemon that sounded closer than most of the others.
"Please don't cry mistress it wasn't your fault we lost." I hear the pokemon say. Was it the pokemon of a grunt. I press my body into the tree hoping, praying that I wouldn't be seen because it had to be a grunt's pokemon. Who else would be stupid enough to be out in this forest with it being so cold out. I hear another pokemon join into the conversation. This one sounded more familiar than the other one.
" I sorry I couldn't win for you lady Hikari, but we'll definitely win next time!" I gasp slightly. * Wait a second , familiar voice, Mistress, Lady, Hikari, It all makes sense!* I come out of my hiding place and follow the pokemon's voices. I finally spot her sitting up in a tree. talking with her Eevee, Eve. *What is my sister doing out in the middle of the forest all by herself? No matter I have to tell her, tell her of fathers plan!* I move towards the tree Hikari was sitting in, but I'm stopped by a splitting pain racing through my body, like I had been struck by lightning. I fall to my knees and close my eyes. *Dammit, I guess my time for running is over. I was finally caught. I .... was so ....close .... to ...telling... her.* I blackout.
Hikari's POV
"Why am I so stupid?" I bury my head between my knees and lean deeper into the tree trunk hoping to be obscured by its leaves. that plan didn't seem to be working.
" I can't hide in this tree forever... why did I run anyway?' I whispered to Eve who I had released from her pokeball and sat her on my lap. Eve stared up at me with a look that said ' what are you asking me for, I can't even talk'. I cracked a little smile but overall I was still just as depressed. I twist around, careful not to fall out of the tree I was perched in, and grabbed Lyths Pokeball of my belt. I peered inside as saw that he was still badly beaten up.
