Chapter 16 ~ Singles, Doubles, Trios!

Hello minna! how are you on this very fine day? me ? Im good, you know considering that I'm totally sick! Its ok though me being sick means that you get a new chapter! See, theres a flip side to every coin. Also I don't know if you know about a gaming series Kingdom hearts or not, but I'm totally obsessed with the opening theme song called sanctuary. And I just go the game Dream Drop Distance from that series and I wish I didn't have to go to school Its amazing!!! 'K enough of all my rambling, it's probably tiring to read... Bye ^_^

~~~~~~~Cilan's POV~~~~~~~

It had been a long night, a long night of worrying. I felt bad for hurting her feelings. Then again I really don't know what I did. I sigh as I stir my drink with a straw on the counter of the cafe. Cress and his Panpour were nearby bussing tables and taking orders, while Chili and his Pansear were washing and drying the dishes behind me. I was on break. In hindsight that wasn't a good idea for me right now. I'd be better if my brain was occupied in some way. I stir my drink once again, my thought wandering.

"Dude, if you're going to stare out into space like that, why don't you do it somewhere that's not right there." I sigh still lost in thought. A hand waved in front of my face. " Earth to Cilan, is anybody up there?" I brush away my brother's hand and turn to face Chili.

" Im going out." Is all I said before moving away from my brother and gliding out of the door and into the cool winter air. I look out across the town, the town that I had grown up in. Its was still early and no one seemed to be awake yet. The grown was cover in a light layer of frost and everything seemed still. It was peaceful, much like a simpler time that I missed. I walk toward the town center, and listen to the chirping of Pidgey and contemplating my predicaments. The gears in my head turned furiously and my feet unconsciously moved me forward. I eventually get to a familiar place. The white marble of Reshiram next to a black marble statue of Zekrom. I smile faintly at the memories I had of this place, but mostly at one memory in particular, The day I meet Hikari.

I run laugh to myself as I evade my brothers, skillfully hiding in our game of hide and go seek. I catch site of the black marble pokemon statue in the town square, thinking that would be a great place to hide, I slid behind. I press my hands against to cool surface of the statues marble and peer around it, on the look out for my brothers. I sigh and turn around not expecting to see a little girl standing with her back to me.

The girl had long purple hair and her small figure was cloaked in a matching purple dress. she was about the same age as me.
She reached her hand out so that the tips of her fingers brushing the white marble surface of another pokemon statue. Her voice tinkled like bell as she said a name.

" Reshiram."

She pressed her palm to the statues base. The wind picked up, suddenly whipping her hair around her face and pulling at the edges of her dress. I shield my face as the wind blew stirring up some fallen leaves. As suddenly as it started the wind died down. The girl still stood there, her palm pressed against the marble. I call out to her.

" Hello, whats you name?" I ask innocently. The girl turns startled and her eyes seemed to pierce right through me and into the marble behind me. They were blood red eyes the seemed to glow even in the middle of the day. I blink reflexively, and the red eyes had turned a comforting shade of Lavender. Again her voice like bells tinkled as she spoke.

" Sorry, you frightened me. What are you doing here?" She smiles at me warmly. it takes me a little while to answer.

" Umm, I'm hiding from my brothers." I say nervously. She giggles and takes a couple of steps in my direction.

" Me too! My name is Hikari." I smile back at her.
