Sadly, for once I have nothing really to say to ya'll. Maybe I'll think of something to say by the end of the chapter.

N's Pov

I grip the cold iron bars of my cell's window, what a day this was turning out to be. You might be wondering how I ended up like this. I'd have to say it started with after I blacked out in the forest.

*2 Hours Earlier*

Sound was what came to me first. The roar of an engine as its pistons fired and drove something forward. I soon found I could feel a jolting motion and I crack my eyes open. A bright light flashes, searing the outside of my eye lids. I shield my eyes from the light and sluggishly open them wider. I was in the back of a van as it jerked down a rugged road. The bright light I had noticed before shone in through a window in the rear. I groan as my eyes adjust to the light. Unlike the common belief that's illustrated by TV shows and movies, my first thought wasn't 'where am I' or ' how did I get here'. No. It was more along the lines of 'how do I get myself into these messes'.

I pulled my body up onto my elbows and survey my current condition. I wasn't tied up, and there were no bruises or cuts on any part of my body, that was a good start. Though my pokemon seemed to be missing, all in all I seemed to be perfectly okay. I lean my back against the side of the vans wall and sigh. I feel the vibrations of the moving vehicle and my brain starts to come out of its daze. Time to escape now I guess. I spot my hat laying next to my side. I dust it off and pull it over my disheveled green hair. I stretch my arms as far as I could in the cramped space. I was fully awake now, all of my senses awakened and functioning.

I move toward the back of the van and peer out of the tiny window that filtered light into the otherwise dark space. I watched unfamiliar forest pass by at highway speeds, I try the handle, locked. I consider kicking the door open then I think better of it. The second I start kicking someone is going to notice and there goes my only chances for escape. I sit back wondering what to do next.

I knew perfectly well who orchestrated my capture and put me in the back of this van. I curse the man my father had become. I started to reminisce the good days, the ones where father wasn't always angry and constantly seeking power. I remembered the day we found Hikari and adopted her. It had been the single happiest day in my life. Hikari, father, and I would sit on the hill and have lunch together. One day that all changed. Without thinking I slam my fist against the van wall creating a loud crash. I am immediately aware of voices muttering up front. I press my ear to the wall and try to listen. It sounded like two males arguing.

" What was that?"

" Probably just a rock hitting the window."

" But, it sounded like-"

" I don't care what you think it sounded like! Our job is to get our cargo to the bosses temporary hideout as quickly as possible. We can't let a small dent distract us."

"But what if he's awake?"

" Theres no way he would be awake. Boss gave him enough anesthesia to kill an elephant. Even if he was awake, the doors are locked so there wouldn't be a chance for him to escape."

" I guess your right."

" What do you mean by ' I guess'! I'm always right!"

" I wasn't- I didn't mean- well I ment-"

"Oh, just shutup you nitwit and drive, were almost there."

I take my ear away and sigh deeply. *Enough anesthesia to kill an elephant he says. Yay, sure. Maybe when pigs fly.* I scoff under my breath at the inaccuracy of their conversation. I find myself rubbing my wrists out of habit, twisting the bracelets on my left wrist around in circles. A normal person would probably start to panic about now. you know, being locked in the back of a van going who knows where, but I'm not the average person. As weird as it sounds I was perfectly calm, calculating. I sat with my thoughts as the ride eventually went from a bumpy roller coaster, to a smooth drive that could only be found along one of the route. 10 minutes later we seemed to have arrived at our intended destination. This was my chance. I pressed my body up against the side of the van behind where the door would open. I wait. multiply sets of foot steps echo against pavement. I would be lying it I said I wasn't just a little nervous, I am human after all. A jangle of keys, and one click later, the doors opened. I kept my placed buried in shadows and held my breath. *1,2,3,4...* I counted in my head. Through the crack in between the door I could see a Plasma grunt's face change from one of disbelief, to shock, to anger all in a matter of a few milliseconds.
