i sat on my bed and flicked through a magazine. i had a day off but since the break up work was a good distraction.

'knock knock,' i hear from the front door.
"maya can you grab that for me," my mom shouts from her room.
i get up and shiver slightly when my bare feet hit the cold wooden floors. i drag myself to th edit and when i open it i freeze.
"hey," lucas says with a small smile.
i stare at him in shock.
"we need to talk," he says.
"u-um. o-okay," i say leading him into my room.
i sit on my bed and he pulls my chair from my desk near my bed.
"i'm so sorry maya, i'm actually an idiot. i should've realised that when you asked for a break, you needed friends not a stupid asshole ex like me. i've really missed you maya and i can't imagine how you feel. i abandoned you, i can't do anything to show how sorry i am. i can't even bel-" he say rambling but i cut him off by pressing my lips agonist his.

at first he is taken by surprise but when he kisses back. it very quickly becomes a steamy make out session.

before i know it he have pushed me down onto my bed and has his hand up my shirt. he moves his lips down to my neck and starts to suck on my neck.

he leaves hickeys in order to find my sweet spot. when he hits it i moan lightly against my will.

"ahem," i hear from my doorway.
lucas immediately gets off of me and turns around and sees both my mom and dad.
"oh hey mr and mrs hunter," lucas says awkwardly scratching behind his ear.
"couch now," dad says making lucas and i both go to the couch but we are sitting at opposite ends.

mom and dad sit in between us and dad gives lucas a dirty look.
"i thought you two weren't together," my mom says.
"technically we are not together," i say.
"what we just saw says otherwise," dad says making me awkwardly shift in my seat.
"well, we were having a break and i was an asshole so i came to apologise," lucas says.
"by kissing her," mom says angrily.
"mom, i kisses him," i say.
she looks at me confused and i smile slightly.
"yes i kissed him. is that because i'm still absolutely in love with him yes. now i'm a junior almost a senior if you expect me not to kiss any boys you are in a dream world," i day with confidence.
"maya it's ju-" dad begins but gets cut off.
"she's right shawn," mom say grabbing his hand and leaving the room with him.

"still in love with me?" lucas says with a cheeky grin.
"how could i not be," i say smiling.
"maya penelope hunter, will you be my girlfriend again," lucas says scooting over to me.
"of course i will," i say wrapping my arms around him.
"i love this," lucas says as i put my head on his chest.
"so do i," i whisper.

a/n one more chapter after this. but lucaya is back together.
