"Can you believe him?" Jihoon stomped into the kitchen with an anguished redness spread across his face. Jin was at the stove, boiling up a feast as he added a plethora of different ingredients into the bowl. Jihoon was more appalled than he should have been; it wasn't the first time his brother had brought home a total stranger. Maybe it wasn't the person he brought home that annoyed him; maybe it was the look he sported when he was looking at that homeless man. The sparkle in his eyes; the interest in his expression and the undoubtable look of attraction toward this particular guest.

"Can I believe who?" Jin answered half-heartedly as he popped a few more bunches of cabbage into the pot. It didn't really bother him that Yoongi had brought home an unknown guest, when Yoongi first brought him home when they were juniors, he was a stranger and Jihoon had reacted the same way.

"Him!" Jihoon pointed up the stairs.

"You know, 'him!' could be any old guy off the street." Jin picked up his knife and started cutting the peeled onion on the cutting board, the knife going at full speed. "You're gonna have to be more specific Hoonie."

"THAT'S THE THING!" Jihoon exploded as he threw his hands toward his oldest hyung, his cheeks erupting with red as heat radiated from them. "HE IS JUST ANY OLD GUY FROM THE STREET! I don't even know who he is! He could be a serial rapist for all we know!"

"Jihoon," Jin pulled out his real name, only ever reserving this for the most serious of times and this was one of those times. He held onto the edge of the counter and looked straight into his eyes. "you're overreacting, Yoongi brings home strangers all the time, sure he hasn't since he came into school soaking wet from head to toe, but this guy is probably just another one of his hook ups." Jin explained. "And besides, why are you so hung up on it anyway? He knows what he's doing."

"Not this time hyung, I'm telling you." Jihoon shook his head suspecting his brother of something he hadn't done in a long time. "There's something in the way he looks at him, it's not normal, it's like his pupils are so much bigger than when he looks at other guys." Jin shot his eyes up, suddenly interested in the conversation. Only one devilish face came into view when Jihoon talked about his brother's dilated pupils.

"You mean like..." his voice became quiet, his eyes becoming sullen and halting his culinary activities for a minute. Jihoon only nodded in response. Jihoon and Jin remembered the way Yoongi used to look at her, the tenderness in his eyes and the shy smile his lips held as he clutched her in his arms. Jin remembered how the only interesting topic of conversation was her, how Yoongi's expression would change whenever she came into the room, how red his cheeks would get when she kissed him out of nowhere... he loved her to the very end and even past the end of their tarnished relationship, not letting anyone trample on her when he was around, he didn't let anyone bad mouth her, quick to defend her after what she'd done. He loved her unconditionally...

Jin didn't want to talk about her, the very thought of her face in his head only made his blood boil with anger, so he played it off with a joke. "Ey~ you're not serious! He doesn't ever look at anyone like that, maybe you saw wrong, your eyes are small you probably made a mistake." Jin laughed. Jihoon stared at his hyung, utterly offended by that statement.

"Yah, yah yah, too far hyung, ok? Back the hell up!" Jihoon said in a low - supposedly intimidating voice - but Jin couldn't take him seriously. "Of all the Asian stereotypes, you had to go for that one?" He was so small and adorable that he just couldn't be intimidated by him. Sometimes Jin wished he could shrink Jihoon down, pocket sized and carry him around on his key chain, he was just too adorable for anyone to take him seriously.

"Aw~, are you angry Hoonie?" he tilted his head to the side and looked at the child with a pout, emphasising how much of a child Jin thought he was. "Do you want some milk to make you feel better?" he reached out to the hot headed Kwon.
