Yoongi sat slumped on his computer chair, drained of any possible inspiration he might have put into his music making software. He'd reached that part of his life where most authors, writers, composers and all creators alike would experience one way or another. It is most commonly known as 'writer's block'. Where a creator would lose any sign of creativity and for the life of them, not be able to create anything to their satisfaction. Being the musician he was, and the course he took in school, you could imagine the frustration in Yoongi's head as he looked into the screen of his MacBook and screamed mentally at his own brain to think up some awesome melody line. But nothing. Nothing arose from the pits of his so called, ever-creating brain. Just the continuous ringing noise ever digging at his already damaged eardrums.

"Hyung?" Jihoon's voice rang in his ears, trying to fight of the ever-growing volume of the ringing noise inside his head. He flinched, hearing the younger male's voice a little louder than his ears had intended. The ringing became louder as he winced at the noise. He covered his pale ears in an attempt to quiet the piercing sound. But to no avail. Shit. It's happening again

"Y-yeah?" He choked out as he spun on his computer chair. Jihoon looked worried, Yoongi's immediate pain to the ears not helping the anxiousness building in his stomach.

"The doctor called..." he let out slowly.

"What?" Yoongi whined. "What do they want?"

"They said you missed your monthly check up yesterday." Jihoon said despondently.

"Shit," he looked up at his calendar and saw the fifth of June screaming the words 'DOCTOR'S APPOINTMENT' in big, red, Korean letters. "That was yesterday?!" He asked, disbelief lacing his tone. "What time do they want me to come in?"

"4:30pm, hyung you really shouldn't miss those check-ups." Jihoon lectured lightly. "In your condition, you shouldn't miss them at all." Yoongi smiled languidly, observing the rarely placed concern on his brother's face.

"Awwww is my baby brother concerned for his hyung?" He mocked, getting up to pinch Jihoon's reddened cheeks. Instant regret filled the younger boy's face as he smacked his older brother's hand away.

"I'm not a baby!" He insisted. "You can't treat me like I'm five anymore! I'm fifteen years old for God's sake!" The childish whine that escaped his lips betrayed him.

"Yeah but we'll be sixty and sixty-four, and you'll still be my baby brother." He walked back to his wardrobe, hunting for a black hoodie to replace the white t-shirt he'd been wearing since he got out of bed that Saturday afternoon. "And besides, I haven't had an attack in a while, you shouldn't worry."

"Whatever." Jihoon sighed, giving up the fight since he knew it'd be true anyway... hopefully. "You want me to come with you? My homework's all done."

"Nah," He declined, stripping off his grey sweat pants and pulled on a pair of ripped denim jeans that hugged his thin legs gratefully. "I'll solo this one, you have band practice anyway."

"I can cancel just this once..." he persisted. "...they won't mind."

"Hoonie," He chuckled as if everything was okay. "I'm fine going on my own, you have a performance coming up so you should practice a little more, ok?" He ruffled his brother's hair and walked past him, headed for the door. "If you mess up your bars, you'll blame someone else again and end up killing someone with your guitar." Jihoon dogged at his heels and didn't stop until they reached the front door.

"I won't!" He quickly defended. "I'm not a murderer." He puffed his cheeks out angrily.

"Not yet." He smirked languidly as he slipped his black and white Vans on. "I'll be going now." He smiled once more... as if nothing was wrong.
