Sweet Surprise

"Get your fucking ass up!" Adeline bangs on my bed.  I groan and send death glares down at her.  My blonde hair was in waves that covered my pillows.  I was thinking of cutting it to my shoulders, but Narh would kill me.  Today is my birthday, Valentines Day.  I hate my birthday so much.

"Go out with your husband!" Narh was out with a this girl and my mom was out with her 'friend'.  Adeline refuses to let me be on my birthday.  Well, Narh's and mine.

"Get up!  Narh is going out for his birthday why not you?" Adeline whined.  I have never celebrated my birthday.  Narh and I would share this huge cake, but I wasn't a fan of frosting.  I would usually give him my slices.  I wouldn't get anything for my birthday, other than books because I didn't want anything else.  I would also just stay in my room most of the time.

"I want to be left alone!" I face planted into my sheets.  We both shot our heads to my door.  Zyon walks in with roses.

"Baby let Annie be.  Let's go out for a bit," Zyon kisses Adeline on the temple.

"But-" "No buts," he pulled her out of the door and smiled at me.  I silently thanked him.

When they pulled out of the driveway, I grabbed my phone and walked downstairs.  I love Adeline, but I'm an introvert.  For my birthday I just wanted to sleep, eat, read, and watch Netflix.

I wasn't in the mood to make anything, so I just ordered pizza.  I skipped through the channels and was annoyed how non of them were much to my interest.

Soon my phone buzzed with text, "Hey, Kevin asked me to dinner😗😗😗😗"

"Have fun!" Aramis loved the idea of having romance on Valentines Day.  Even when we were eleven, she dreamed about having someone hold her on this day. 

"Why do I feel as if I'm missing something?"

"Did you put deodorant on?"

"Shit!"  Aramis is still a child in my head.  Always forgetting and I reminding her.  I missed those days, Aramis suck to me like glue and I so nervous.  I was nervous, because I never had friends. Aramis was my first ever friend.

I soon stopped day dreaming and watched my favorite cartoon, My Fairy Godparents.

€ 9:00 PM€

Everyone was still out.  Narh sent me a message saying he won't be home, so did my mom.  I was happy for them, but I couldn't help but feel a bit lonely.

Aramis called and said her date went well and she's going to have a fun night.  I was disgusted by that text.

I am currently sprawled out on my bed.  I had my glasses off and stared at my ceiling.

Soon my phone went off, "WHAT ARAMIS?"

"Last I checked I have a dick and my name was Valfrid," I shot up and turned red.

"I thought you wer-" "Aramis?  Caught on already Love," I stared at my pink shorts in embarrassment, "I'm just happy you only said a female name, not a male's."

I mentally face palmed at that, "What Valfrid?

"Remember when I told you to go out to dinner with me to make up what miracle I did for you?" He sounded as if he conquered the world.

"Yes."

"Well, get dressed!  I am standing on your frontsteps, with a dress for you.  Get moving Love," he then ended the call.  I jumped off my bed and practically jumped off the stairs.
