He pulled away from me and met my eyes. I saw how much he hated what I said, but I couldn't leave Marcus. Not like this anyway. I love him and he's always been good to me. I put my hand onto his chest and pushed away. I wiped my tears, "Valfrid, I'm with someone. I'm not the old Anahita you think I am Valfrid."
"Who?" His voice was broken.
"Marcus," I watched him glare at the floor. His hands opening and closing from a fist.
"I understand," he looked up at me, "but I will continue to fight for you."
I couldn't speak. He wiped his eyes and breathed out. His breath was shaky. He stared at the walls and sniffed, trying to piece himself back together, "It's too late for you to go home. The maids and servants with bring you your dinner. If you need me, just inform one of the staff members." He walked right past me.
As the doors closed, I fell to my knees, sobbing. I gripped the carpet and let my emotions flow. I finally heard what I needed, but I hurt him. I hurt him and now I'm feeling the consequences. I sat there crying, wishing that my pain would just disappear.

Valfrid
I told her. I laid it out straight. Now, I'm stuck. She's in love with another. I knew this was my fault. It was my fault from hiding it from her, it was my fault I got Jayden pregnant, it was my fault that Anahita's and I's relationship fell to ruins.
I was sitting on the couch, sipping on a beer, thinking of what we could have had.Could we both have been married by now? Could we have been living together? Could we have had our own children now?
I will never regret having Harmony. I love her with everything in me. She was my biggest push to continue. Watching her learn how to talk and walk was amazing. I loved how she was a curious person and very intelligent for her age. She had me wrapped around her finger, without her even trying.
I heard footsteps come down the halls of the mansion. My little sister Julia came in. She's a freshman in college now. She's grown taller and she's matured wonderfully. She's still the same intelligent girl and is still loving. She came in and crossed her arms,, "My wonderful niece is asleep and my dumb ass brother is getting drunk on the couch."
Setting the drink down, I smile up at her, "I'm not drunk. I was just taking a few sips. I haven't even finished. That's my first bottle."
I walked past hr, "Thank you for putting her to bed." She rolled her eyes and I laughed. Still a smart ass as well.
I went to the left wing of the mansion to find my baby girl's room. It was colored yellow with butterflies hanging off the ceiling. She had a little desk and a toy chest in the left top corner of her room. I walked over to her castle bed. She was wearing her power puffs pjs. You could hear faint sores, making me smile. I kissed her forehead, "I love you baby."
"You really have changed," I straightened up and saw Anahita standing at her door. She was leaning on the door frame, her eyes were red. I could hear her crying when I left the dinning hall. I wanted to go back into there and hold her, but I knew I couldn't.
She came closer, keeping her eyes on Harmony. She smiled, "Who knew you would be a great father. She's one lucky girl."
I kept my eyes on her. She's even more beautiful than before. She was a full grown woman now. Her body has leaned out and her hair met to her shoulders. She still wore glasses, but her frame has became much more curvy. Her lips have filled in and her eyes still had its sparkling blue color. I spoke without thinking, "Your beautiful."
