Me and Valfrid

Today was the day all seniors would usually start to panic, college talk.  Our principle dragged all the seniors into the MPR to discuss our ideas for colleges and where to get started.  I wasn't scared for the lectures, or the grading, or the amount of work, I was scared of Valfrid.  Last time I discussed about my college choice he left.  

Aramis and I made our way to the back.  All the slutty girls sat in the front and replied their makeup.  Aramis was trying for NYU, because Kevin was accepted for New York University.  I was currently in art class, so I watched out for my brother, who was coming from PE.  

Student after student came in, filling the once empty room.  Aramis flew towards Kevin, kissing him in front of the teachers.  Kevin wanted to sit with his friends, so Aramis went along with him. I was now alone.  Narh sat in the middle, not hearing me call for him.

I sighed and pulled out my binder, slipping out my acceptance form .  I read a bit of my letter when I felt a hand land on my thigh.  I jumped, "Hey what are you-" "Well Love I thought I must sit next to you or is that a problem?" Valfrid gave me a smirk.  

I slapped his hand and looked at the principle to make sure we weren't caught, "Next time don't just touch me out of nowhere!"

"I do not agree, you see Love I am the only one to touch you.  You are mine," he kept his gaze on our principle.  I huffed and went back to my paper.  I finished reading my paper and slipped it into my binder, not paying it anymore attention.

I watched as our principle graced the floor and called out the kids talking, "Now I would like to congratulate one of our students at the moment.  She had filled out the application form and has been accepted to École Polytechnique in france, Anahita Lynn!"

The room filled with applause, but I felt Valfrid take his hand back.  My heart ached as he clapped for me.  I nodded, "Thank you very much Mrs. Newman for helping me along the way."

Mrs. Newman smiled and continued with her lecture.  I waited until everyone was focused on her before I dared to look over.  Taking a peek, Valfrid was pissed.  The expression on his face was screaming anger.  

I reached over and ran my fingernails over his forearm, but he pulled away from me.  Soon the lecture was over, he stood up and left.  I felt my heart break at that moment.

*A Week*

Kids from my school were panicking over college.  I watched some kids have panic attacks in the middle of class because they were so worried.  Adeline came down, just her, for Narh's and I's graduation.  We had two weeks left, before we were off.  

Valfrid and I have spoken, but only a little.  I missed him, but I didn't dare show it.  I found out yesterday that I will be giving the speech to my school as valedictorian.  I was finishing up my speech when I heard my phone go off.

"Hey today is the soccer teams last game!  You should come and cheer for Valfrid!" Aramis sent.

"Busy, I can't"

"You are coming."

"No I'm not."

"You are fucking coming!  I am done with Valfrid's and yours shit!  You are coming with a God damn smile on your face!  I will be at your house it ten minutes, you better find the schools color or I swear I will murder you slowly!"

I huffed and got up.  Aramis is stubborn, I would never win against her.  I grabbed a school sweater and let m blonde hair down.  I grabbed some white vans and a tan purse.  I made my way downstairs and saw my mom talking to her friend Greg, "Mom Aramis is dragging me to Narh's soccer game.  Bye!"
