The drive was mostly silent, Opal had her legs tucked up under her, her thighs glistening with the deep scars, her long hair twisted up so only small pieces were flying around in the wind. Dean was just enjoying driving baby, listening to the music stream from the radio. She was smiling and tapping, humming along

"How do you know this stuff, if you've been gone" Dean asked, glancing sideways at Opal. She shrugged and smiled airily.

"When I was in purgatory, when I slept, if I slept, I could see into this world, music was always my favorite thing to track." she said, her voice a purr as she got lost in memories.

"I spent a good amount of time in purgatory, I can't imagine what it was like as catnip for monsters." Dean said softly. Opal nodded and reached over to take his hand.

"I'm glad you got out" she said softly. Dean looked over at her and sighed.

"I'll be back in a minute with grub." he said as he parked the car, he took his hand abruptly from Opal and slipped out of the car. She curled up in the seat, purring softly at the warmth of the stars.

Dean walked out, his arms heavy with the massive bags of chinese food, he opened the backdoor and popped them in, smiling a little when he saw her curled up asleep, but then shook his head when he realized he had felt something. He climbed in the passenger seat and closed it extra hard so that she woke

"What's with the cat nap, I thought angels didn't sleep" he retorted. Opal stretched and yawned before answering

"The fae do sleep, I use it to see into my realm so I know how my family is faring. And the stars are the source of my power, all my sexual aura and my life force are drawn from them" she said motioning towards the starry night sky. Dean nodded, when a force hit Opal's side of the car and she shrieked, it was a vamp, all teeth staring straight at Opal's this throat. She growled and a ripple of the soft violet light hit the vampire and he seemed to melt. Dean looked at her shocked

"Just go, there isn't enough of him left worth hiding" she said and Dean kicked the car into gear and sped off.

"I know with your life force being drawn from the outside and all but if we want to keep you safe we really do need to keep you in the bunker" Dean sighed, and Opal nodded sadly. The rest of the drive went by in silence, when they got to the bunker they plunked all the cartons down and Dean popped in Rocky. They sat in silence eating takeout and pie until Opal broke the silence

"I would like to rest soon, being far from the outside is more painful than I thought." she said quietly. Dean nodded and stood with her, she trembled and looked up at him

"You wouldn't happen to have any live plants would you" she asked quietly. Dean sighed and picked her up bridal style and carried her to the door, she curled against him and relaxed when the star shine hit her skin. She settled against his chest, breathing softly her skin shimmering again. Dean stood for a few minutes before taking her back inside and laying her in her bed. He watched the colour drain from her skin again and swore softly to himself and went to the library.

"Why am I doing this" he grumbled to himself as he flipped through old spell book after old spell book, after a few hours, he finally found what he was looking for, a star catching spell and a nature spell. He gathered what he needed and just before dawn broke performed a simple spell, catching star light in his hands, then putting it in a jar. He carefully went into the spare blank room Castiel had created for Opal and stood in the middle of it.

"Fucking witchcraft" he muttered to himself before reading off an incantation and releasing the stars. The room immediately became lush and green, a canopy of stars and a small waterfall. He closed the jar before all of the stars escaped, and stepped quietly into Opal's room, and placed the glowing jar next to her on the bedside table, the glow reached her skin in a moment and it regained some of her colour. Dean relaxed and as he closed the door he saw her smile in her sleep.
