The door bell rang, waking Troye from his sleep.

He pursed his lips together, an annoyed expression on his face because he was not able to sleep until the sun was barely peaking through his windows and the morning birds began their first chirp of chorus.

"Mom, please open the door," Troye yelled sleepily, letting out a yawn and then rubbing his eyes like a little child.

When a few moments passed and the doorbell still continued to ring, Troye assumed that his mother must have already went to work so he got out of bed, groaning lazily.

He prodded to the front door only to open it and to be greeted to be a warm smile and a familiar forest green eyes who had a brown paper bag in his hand.

"Hey Troye, good morning," Connor said, his thin lips showing a genuine smile.

Troye was more than shocked to see Connor in front of his door.

"Why are you here, Con?" Troye asked softly, trying to keep himself calm and collected, nervously playing with his fingers.

"Look, I am sorry. I might have overreacted and over the past few weeks, I have just realised that I actually miss you. I miss spending time with you and just being around you in general. I hope we could just start again as friends and try and work this out," Connor said.

"Con, look... I have a new boyfriend now," Troye mumbled, looking down.

"I know. It's Jacob. We could just be friends again, Troye. Give me one last chance, please?"

"Okay," Troye said hesitating without knowing what he was getting himself into. He was just too oblivious to Connor's actual intentions of getting him as far away from Jacob as possible.

And let's just say that Connor's plan is going to work.

It's going to work perfectly.
