"jay," troye yelled, running barefoot against the wind on the road behind jacob.

jacob was walking faster, his hands shaking as he cried.

troye finally caught up with him, tugging on jacob's hand and turning the tall guy around to look at him.

the night was falling, it was a long day.

the birds were flying around and jacob was just quiet.

nothing but painful silence.

"we need to talk," troye pleaded.

"please."

"what is left to talk about?" jacob asked, his eyes red and his mind dizzy. he had the perfect plan for the valentine's day but he just could not let go what he had just seen.

"its n-not what it seems l-like, b-believe me," troye said, stammering a little.

he felt like the loosely bounds threads of their relationship were finally letting go and he needed to save them because he loved jacob. he loved jacob a lot.

more than he even loved disney.

"and then what is it? and why should i even believe you? give me one good reason, tro," jacob said, sobbing.

he was hurt.

and so was troye.

"b-because i-i love you, jay," troye spoke up, placing his hands on jacob's arms.

jacob shook his head, wiping the tears that rolled down on his cheek and looked at the shorter boy.

"and what if you are lying? how do i trust you?" jacob asked.

and troye closed his eyes.
