Calum's POV
We turned with our back to the crowd, posing while one of the crew took a photo. Then as we like to do at the end of our gigs we threw them some guitar picks and Ashton threw his drum sticks. After we ran backstage.
'Great gig guys, did you have fun out there Ash?' I said winking at him, as I shook everyone's hand.
'Yeah, I really loved being up front for a change.' Ashton said smiling. We headed back to our dressing room, as soon as we got there Luke and Michael instantly jumped on the xbox to play fifa.
'I'm just gonna take a shower' Ashton shouted over as he headed towards the bathroom.
'Wait! Ash shouldn't you leave that until...' I trailed off as he had already left the room. Suddenly there was a knock on the door, I got up and opened it. It was Dougie and Aria.
'Hey mate, great show tonight' Dougie said giving me a man hug.
'Hey, thanks. It felt good. Come on in. Hi Aria, did you enjoy yourself?' I asked her, as I gestured them to both come in.
Aria's POV
'Yeah you guys were incredible, I had an amazing time, thanks. Oh and I loved the surprise.' I replied with a chuckle, while looking round the room. However the person I was looking for wasn't present. Calum had noticed I was looking and must of guessed who I would be looking for.
'Oh Doug obviously you have met before, but Aria this is Michael and Luke' he smiled gesturing towards two people huddled around a tv screen. They paused their game and came over, said hi to dougie and then looked at me.
'Hi, i'm Aria. I'm a big fan' I smiled trying to remain calm as I gave them both a hug, they introduced themselves individually before going back to their game and taking Dougie with them. This left me and Calum standing
'Ash should be back soon' Calum smiled cheekily. As if on cue a shirtless Ash appeared, I couldn't take my eyes off his amazing bare torso
'Ash, we have company' Calum joked.
'Oh shit, yeah sorry.' He said looking a bit embarrassed before he noticed it was me
'Oh if it isn't the incredibly beautiful miss Aria. Thanks for holding my hand out there' He winked. I felt my face burning as my cheeks flushed a bright red.
'Your very welcome, great show tonight. It was nice to see you front of stage, your voice is amazing' I complemented. 'Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it.' he smiled.
Ashton's POV
She was honestly stunning and she seemed to have a good sense of humour too. I heard shouting come from the guys playing fifa and Calum went over to see what was happening leaving us alone.
'So how long have you been a fan?' I asked.
'Since the beginning really, I used to watch your YouTube videos and it followed on from there. My sister Terri brought me tickets to go and see you guys on my 18th birthday just before she died. It was one of the best nights ever.' she explained.
'Hey shall we get a few pictures together?' Calum called from across the room.
'Yeah that would be cool, if you don't mind. I mean you must be fed up of taking pictures all the time' she finished quickly.
'Of course not. What I mean to say is it depends who it is, sometimes it does get a little tiring but we would love to take a few pics with someone as lovely as you. Sorry that was really cheesy.' I suddenly felt my cheeks redden as I heard back the words I had just said. I heard Calum snigger and I glared at him, Luke noticed.
'Come on then guys, don't just stand there gather round' he ushered. Dougie took a photo of the band and Aria and then we attempted a group selfie.
Calum's POV
It's weird... I've never seen Ashton like this. Not even when he was with Paisley. He is usually so smooth with the ladies. This girl on the other hand has him tripping over his sentences. I know it sounds silly, I mean they've known each other all of a couple of hours, but he must really like her. We all believed that Aria could be the one to turn his life around again.
Dougie's POV
I hated to be the party pooper but it was getting late and at 6am me and the McBusted boys had a long day a head of us.
'Hey guys, thanks for tonight but we really should be making a move' I say.
'We were about to go and grab some food why don't you both come with us?' Michael asked.
'I wish I could mate but I've got an early start tomorrow with the boys and it's getting late' I said sounding apologetic.
'What about you, Aria?' Ashton asked.
'I would but i'd be left to get home on my own and I don't fancy that or letting Dougie go on his own' Aria explained.
'I don't mind dropping you off i've got a car' Ashton offered.
'Go ahead Aria, I was gonna stay at Tom's tonight anyway after i'd dropped you back home.' I could see Aria give it some thought. She knew Tom and Gi's house was only 15 minutes walk from here. She smiled
'Okay I guess, but can we walk Doug to Tom's first its only down the road?'.
'Sure, then at least we know you'll have gotten there safe' Ashton replied.
Luke's POV
It didn't take long to walk Dougie to Tom's house. To be completely honest with you I was a little starstruck by Dougie. He was such a down to earth guy and I'd been listening to McFly for years since they first started. It was late so Dougie text Tom to let him know he was outside. A few seconds later Tom opened the door.
'Hey Birthday boy, Happy Birthday mate, come on in.' Tom gestured Dougie in before he noticed Aria.
'Hello Aria, what are you doing here? Happy Birthday' he greeted as he pulled her in for a hug.
'Hey Tom, thanks. We were just walking Dougie so we knew he got here safe. I believe you already know these guys. Dougie took me to see them tonight and Calum gave us backstage passes.' She explained to Tom realising he was looking at us.
'Hey guys, how are you guys. We had fun writing with you guys last week we should do it again some time.' he said smiling. I was stood there in amazement.
'That would be amazing, we had fun too. I can't thank you enough for agreeing to write with us' Ashton replied.
'It's no problem, you guys are crazy talented. Anyway we've got an early day tomorrow so I best get to bed. I'll see you soon Aria and you guys too' Tom said hugging her goodbye and waving to the rest of us.
'Yeah see you soon Tom'. Before he went in Dougie turned around.
'Promise me you will get my baby sister home safe' he said with a very serious look in his eye.
'Of course, we promise.' I replied. Once he was satisfied he hugged Aria goodbye and told her to text him when she was home.
