"Where were you?" Ruby asked sweetly sitting down beside Owen. Her hair was done in two french braids accentuating her bright eyes and her slender face.

Owen grinned and kissed her, she pouted:

"I missed you in English, I had to fix my own grammar!" She exclaimed and he smirked.

"I was..." He trailed off trying to figure out what to say to Ruby. She looked at him expectantly. "I was at a doctor's appointment."

"Again?" She asked in a high pitched tone, "But you were at a doctor's appointment two weeks ago, are you sick?" She asked worriedly and put a hand on his forehead to check his temperature.

"No." He assured her laughing.

"Then why were you at the doctor?" He wasn't a particularly good liar.

"It wasn't for me." Ruby's face took on an ugly sour expression.

"It wasn't for her was it?" She asked, the way she said her confused him, as if she was physically ill at the mention of it. His eyebrows raised at her expression, it wasn't what he expected. Sure she hadn't liked that she couldn't know what had gone on with Sarah, but from what he'd observed Sarah had only ever been her kind self to Ruby.

"Yeah, it was, why is that a problem?" She looked at him as if he was the most stupid person she had ever met.

"Why were you at a girl's doctor appointment?" She asked, practically spluttering, her sweet tone as dead as her good mood.

"Because she asked me to be."

"WHY? Why would she ask you to be at her doctor appointment?" Her tone was alike to if she was asking why he slaughtered infants in their cradles. What was he supposed to say? He would never ask her to let him tell Ruby, the only people who knew were him, Vanessa, Amelia and Vic, not even Kyle had been told because Sarah didn't want anyone to know what happened. People at archery had been guessing but no one had put their finger on it.

He wouldn't betray Sarah, it wasn't something for him to share. It wasn't his damage, he didn't get why Ruby couldn't just trust him. Had he ever betrayed her? There wasn't an occasion that he was aware of.

Ruby couldn't believe it, in his bed and now going to her doctor's appointments. The two connected in her mind and she spat at him:

"The bitch is pregnant." Her half whisper was harsh and her eyes were practically flaming. The expression on his face was enough for confirmation.

He didn't tell Sarah. She found out about the break up through Nathan, a friend they both had at another club. At archery training she walked straight up to him with an expression that scared him, she was mad, not in the glare at him and make him laugh way, in the, I'm going to kill you, no joke, way.

"What?" He asked when she shoved his arm.

"Did you not tell me to tell you absolutely every that happened?" She asked. He nodded slowly, he was extra worried about her now she was going through with the baby, he had read up on all the different risks for pregnant women for depression. He wanted to make sure he didn't miss something, he didn't want to manage to wind up at her funeral saying he had no idea she was so depressed or suicidal. Okay maybe that was a stretch but he just wanted to make sure she was okay, he felt responsible for her.

"So should that not go both ways?" She asked, she rolled her eyes at his confusion, she hasn't been so much herself in months, he noted with an internal smile.

"You and Ruby broke up and you didn't tell me! What happened?" He froze as she raised her eyebrows at him.

"It just happened." He tried to splutter but her disbelief was obvious.
