Chapter 15: Banshee Wail

CHAPTER 15

BANSHEE WAIL

ANA POV

After getting dressed we headed downstairs to eat breakfast with the family. How strange, a year before it had just been my sisters and I then Zac and his niece and nephew who were essentially our children. And now my brothers and sisters were added to the mix. Stopping at the top of the stairs I stood on my tip toes to press my lips to his. He smiled softly and asked. 

"What was that for?" I laughed aloud as raised voices drifted up the stairs. Sauntering down the stairs I glanced back over my shoulder. 

"You haven't ever had breakfast with my family have you? It's much different than you used to." With that I skipped ahead to the dining room. I entered in time to hear Ax growl at Avon. 

"Dammit sis, will you quit getting her started she's been raving for ten minutes now." Avon giggled and glanced up at me as our minds brushed. 

"We watched the 'Twilight' series last night with Garrett and Lai. Lai is team Edward like us and Garrett is cheering for the werewolf, of course." I laughed as Ax groaned and glanced behind me to Zak who had just entered the room. 

"You're the king can't you stop this, please?" Zak looked confused as I spoke up. 

"But Ax last time I checked you were team Edward, as well." The room fell silent as everyone turned to stare at him. He narrowed his eyes and growled. 

"That Jacob is a complete ass. Mooning over a girl like that and then acting superior to Edward." He scowled as he realized what he said and glared at me. 

"It's your fault you made us watch it. Said that we had to bond since we hadn't seen each other in so long. It's not my fault I was forced to choose a side." Anvil laughed and Ax shoved him out of his chair. "If you're smart you'll stay on the floor." He paused then glanced down at Anvil in thought before he grinned widely. "Anyway you're team Jacob." Aston, Avon, Lai, and I gasped and looked at him as he jerked to his feet. He pointed a finger at me as I opened my mouth.  

"You drop this subject right now or I'll tell everyone what happened at your sixteenth birthday party." My mouth snapped shut and I glanced at Zak blushing furiously.  

"How do you know...let's eat breakfast." I managed to eat two bites before Zak leaned close to my ear and whispered. 

"What happened on your sixteenth birthday?" I blushed and scowled at Anvil who was looking at us with a grin on his face. He totally knew what we were talking about.  

I turned my head to Zak's ear and whispered. 

"I was caught playing with an early birthday present from Ashton." He raised a brow in confusion and I sighed in defeat as I leaned in closer. 

"She gave me a toy." He merely continued to stare at me and I gritted my teeth. "A dildo. Ax caught me using a dildo. Dammit do you know what that is?" He smiled hugely and leaned in so close his breath caressed my ear. 

"Actually I might get you a few things. I find I like the idea of watching you play with your toys."

My face bright red I ducked my head and shoved food into my mouth. Zak chuckled softly as his hand slid under the table and his fingers traveled up my thigh. Something tightened inside me as I felt the passion stir and I bit my lip to hold back a gasp. Smiling I raised my hand and slid power from my fingertips to Zac's shoulder. I caressed his shoulder then slid down his back as Zac's eyes dilated and slid to meet mine. I grinned broadly and flicked my wrist as my power slid down his butt to squeeze gently then it slid to the front and caressed him before fading he grunted as narrowed his eyes and he leaned towards me.
