Dean & Kaitlyn: Prompts & Stuff

About Them.

Kaitlyn and Dean's relationship is a weird one, but then again; no relationship is ever normal.

To most of the co-workers at WWE they would never have guessed that the hybrid diva and the resident psychopath of the most dominant stable of the comany today, The Shield would be in a relationship together.

If you had told Dean he would have fount a relationship at work with someone who is opposite to his personality he would have obnoxiously laughed in your face and walked away. Kaitlyn would have probably denied that she would ever be with The Shield member, as he wouldn't seem like her 'type of guy'.

But as Paula Abdul sang, opposites attract.

They were familiar with one another since developmental territory, knowing of each other's existence yet not socialising with one another. It's weird as they have the same social connections, with Dean being friends with Seth, who is also friends with Kaitlyn. Also Dolph Ziggler, who Dean has worked with and Kaitlyn knows him through best friend AJ Lee.

Moving up to the main roster, Kaitlyn making her way up just a year before Dean, who made his debut alongside team members Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. Neither of them still talked to eachother in that November.

That was until Dean knocked over her krutch she was on due to her injured ankle. Their first encounter was Kaitlyn shouting at him for bumping into her, telling him to 'watch where he was going' and mumbling profanities towards him.

He rambled aimlessly, apologising much to the amusement of Seth and a Roman who watched their teammate uncomfortably stuff his hands in his pockets and stutter on his words as the two toned diva stood there, hands on her hips waiting for some form of aplogy. This was a first for the normally confident Dean Ambrose. He would then continue to have run ins with Kaitlyn, bumping into her randomly around the arenas and hotels.

He would still then continue to apologise and stutter on his words, eventually mumbling his sorry's before stalking off down the corridor annoyed with himself.

Dean offered to take her out for coffee - his treat, to make up for all the run ins, she accepted. They talked, gotten to know the small basics about one another. From then they started talking, saying their hellos when they passed one another in the halls.

To them they didn't see a thing wrong, but to their friends and to anyone else viewing them, you could tell that they became flustered and awkward in one another's presence.

Not so much eye contact, the looking when the other isn't looking, tongue-tied and often fumbling on their words.

With forced encouragement and finally growing the balls, Dean asked Kaitlyn to hang out. He didn't like the term date, he said it always sounded too formal. They hung out, watching a movie; action movie, of course, and ate pizza.

Kaitlyn soon learned that Dean lacked social skills and somewhat got the impression that Dean was cold-natured, which was unintended for the Shield member. He just didn't know what to say to her, from past experience Dean came off weird and maybe slightly off. He'd often have Seth and Roman to explain what he meant or something for a form of backup, however in this case he was alone.

She also fount out that he had a knack of saying 'urm' or 'like' whilst trying to converse with her, it's a force of habit what he just cannot break.

Deciding that Dean wasn't going to get over his awkwardness of talking, she decided to make the conversation, Dean just adding his comments here and there when he wanted. That was enough for her, at least he was talking to her.

They continued 'hanging out', eventually becoming a thing when Kaitlyn asked where this was going.

I mean, you wasn't expecting Dean to make this official, was you?

However in typical Ambrose style, they didn't go by the typical term of boyfriend and girlfriend. Dean referred to Kaitlyn as his very important person, or VIP to be exact. This made Kaitlyn feel wanted and more so cared for, like she was someone's important person.

They don't live together, however the do have a few things at each other's homes, in case they stay over.

Also with this Dean learned that Kaitlyn has OCD. One time, he fount her in the kitchen putting the cups back in the cupboard according to shade of colour and height. He tried to confront her on it, but she denied it whilst organising Dean's underwear according to colour: dark to light. It of course had to follow the colour order of the rainbow.

Their relationship is a strange one, yet they wouldn't have it any other way. As they say, if it's not broken, don't fix it.
