Problem 13: Words man, just words.

Okay so basically I'm gonna talk about the fact that we have different words/phrases for the same thing despite us all being in the same area.

A couple of examples of this are:

- Breadcake/Bread Roll/Bap/Cob etc
- Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner vs Breakfast, Dinner, Tea

These arguments tend to be more common if you are friends with people that are not from the same city as you are and can also tend to get pretty heated. (No seriously...me and my mates at college had these debates and we got told off for being too loud.) Also get ready for it to pop up into conversation at ANY time, it doesn't matter if you've had this conversation before....it will come back.

And that's not even the worse one, there's also debates on how you pronounce words. Yes I am talking about The Scone Debate. You see there are two ways that you can pronounce the word 'scone', you can either say the one bit as if you were saying the word on, or as if you were saying the word own. (I personally say it the first way, that's how I've always done it please don't fight me on this.)

Now this debate can happen with anyone you know! Even your close family and friends turn against you cause you say it differently to them and they are too stubborn to say they're wrong just like you are.

So, at this point in time I realise that there will be comments about how to pronounce things but like just be polite about it please, no need to be a dick.
