Emily's POV
When I awake in the morning, I find myself so close to Liam that I can barely move. I don't mind it though, because I like being close to Liam.
I didn't have that dreadful dream last night, thankfully. It's only Tuesday though, and I don't get my pills until Friday. It's my stupid fault that I took too much the night of Liam and I's first date. I mentally scold myself, as I climb out from underneath Liam. He only moves a little bit, but doesn't wake up.
I softly walk over to my dresser, grabbing a bra to put on under my shirt. Once it's on, I take a brush, running it through my long hair. I've been thinking about getting a haircut, but I would never do that. I would probably just get a trim, or maybe an inch taken off. It wouldn't change much considering my hair is very long.
Once I'm done brushing my hair, I look in the mirror at my own reflection. On the outside, I look like a happy young teenager. On the inside, I'm sad and weak. I sigh, grabbing my phone and walking out into the living room. While I'm walking to the kitchen, I open my phone to reveal 1 new text message and a missed call. I decided to see who called me first, then I will check the text message next.
Missed call from, Mother. The screen says, and I press the call back button.
I pace around the kitchen, waiting for my mother to answer.
"Hello?" Her voice seems happier then usual.
"Hey mom, you called?" I said, taking a seat next to the large window that shows part of the city.
"Yes I did." She says, pausing for a second. "I was just wondering if you still wanted me to come for Christmas?" I have totally forgotten about Christmas! I didn't get anyone any presents yet!
"Um yeah that should be good. I have the tree set up and everything." I say.
"Okay sounds good, I got to go, bye!" And with that she hangs the phone up.
I have to go Christmas shopping today, right after my classes. Wait, classes!
I check the time and see that it's already noon. I have missed my first two classes, and I'm completely devastated. I might as well not go now, but I should call in later.
I sigh, clicking the text messages next.
Text from, Unknown.
My heart stops, and my breathing hitches. I click the text to reveal:
I've been getting to know you Emily. When you come Saturday, don't try too pull any moves.
Sweet dreams

Secret POV
I watch from the building across Emily, as she opens her phone. I zoom in a little farther with the camera, quickly snapping a photo. Her face is priceless, according to what Richard just said behind me. I play along, only doing it for the money I'm getting.
"Good job boy." Richard says, giving me a pat on my back.
"Soon Liam will be regretting that he ever had quit." Richard says again, walking over to his desk. I look into my camera, at the innocent girl sitting at her kitchen table.
"Sure." I say, packing up the camera in its bag.
"You have four more days to find out as much as possible, got it?" He spats, and I nod.
I leave the building silently, getting in my car and waiting for Emily to leave.
