Emily's POV

I sigh, because I'm obviously not going to find out this person who is texting me. This is scaring me though because I don't know who they are, or what they are talking about.

I shrug it off, walking towards the kitchen. A pale pink color catches my eyes, and I turn my head too look at the pretty color. There, in front of the door, is a pale pink piece of paper that looks like an envelope. I slowly walk over to it, bending down to grab it. On the front reads the name Emily.

I slowly open it, confused because who would be sending me notes? This is a little weird.

When I open the note it reads,

I see you have gotten this note Emily. Before you read any further, if you show anyone this note, bad things will happen to you and Liam. Now, Liam has done something bad, and I told you to stay away from him, but you disobeyed. If you want to keep Liam safe, meet me at the abandon auto shop called Phil's wheels at 8 pm this Saturday. That's five days, Emily. I can't wait to see your pretty face there, and if you don't show, I will hurt you and your loved ones, ten times worse. Goodbye love, hope to see you soon

-R. Xx

My mouth dries and chills go up my spine. I'm now panicking because I'm so lost and confused. I don't want Liam to get hurt, but I'm scared. I'm scared that this person is messed up, and is going to hurt me. It must be Richard, Liam's old boss, hinting the -R signed at the bottom of my page. I hear the door open and I quickly back away before shoving the note in my pocket.

"Emily, I'm so sorry I'm late." Liam apologizes, quickly setting his bag down on the table.

"Some asshole in front of me didn't seem to get that the light turned green, so I got caught up in traffic." He explains, and I only nod.

"Emily are you okay? You look like you have just seen a ghost." His places his hands on my waist. I put a smile on my face.

"I'm fine." I lie, smiling.

"Okay. So what do you want to do for the rest of the day?" He asks, and I shrug.

"Actually I need to ask you a few things, if you will answer me." I say to him, leading him over to the couch and sitting down. He slowly sits down next to me, placing his hand on my thigh.

"Depends on what it is?" He says slowly, his eyes meeting mine. I look into his eyes, before gulping.

"Are they going to hurt us?" I whisper, and his eyes flicker to the floor.

"I won't let them hurt you." He says, tucking a piece of my hair behind my ear.

"What about you?" I look up at him.

"I will be fine." He smiles, reassuring me.

I'm still going Saturday night, at 8 pm. I know they will hurt Liam, and I don't want that. Without Liam seeing, I slide the note into my purse, tucking it far away.

Liam and I were in the middle of our second movie, and it was getting late.

"Maybe we should start getting ready for bed. I have classes tomorrow afternoon." I say. I bend my head upside down, pulling my hair into a pony tail. From the corner of my eye, I noticed Liam staring at me.

"What?" I asked him, flipping my head back.

"I was just watching you out your hair into a pony tail like that. Why do you put your head upside down?" He eyed me, as I started to grab out soda cans.

"It's just easier for me I guess. When I played volleyball, one of my teammates showed me and I did it from then to now." I explained, turning the tv off. I threw away out cans in the kitchen, hearing Liam behind me. I liked that he always followed me. He just cared a lot.

"I'm going to take a shower." I say as we walk into my room. He nods, and I walk into the bathroom shutting the door behind me. I turn the water on, letting it warm up before I get in. I take my top and bra off, throwing the clothing into the dirty clothes basket in the corner. I do the same with the rest of my clothes, before pulling my hair out of it's pony tail. When I look in the mirror, I see the scar that was on my thigh, from just a little while ago. When Niall and his group of 'friends' pinned me against the alley wall, my thigh had scraped against a trash can. Thank god Niall saved me.

When I see steam coming from the top of the shower, I pull the curtains back, getting in. The warm water hits my body, making me feel a little less stressed then I was feeling earlier today.
