Emily's POV

Harry's lips tasted like some type of a cherry flavored drink, when I pressed my lips to his. It was sweet, but it didn't feel the same.

Of course Harry didn't fight against me, but instead he set down his drink on the coffee table near us, and found the sides of my face. His fingers lightly touched my hair, as he kissed me again. I didn't stop, but instead I grabbed the collar of his jacket.

Harry was not Liam, and he never will be. I love Liam, but too see him go and kiss his ex-girlfriend, hurts more than words can say. Maybe it's the jealousy that's making me kiss Harry right now, or it's the rage. Either way, this is my choice, and I'm choosing to do it.

I let my thoughts go, Harry's lips still connected to mine.

The front door opens, revealing a sweaty and worn out Liam. Of course he followed me here. I pull away from Harry, my lips throbbing. Some part of me feels glad that Liam just saw Harry and I kiss, but the other part of me, feels as if I shouldn't have done what he did. If it hurt me that much, I shouldn't have done it to him.

"Emily," Liam pauses for a second, looking at Harry and I. "What the fuck?" His voice gets louder. I know he is getting angry, so before he steps towards Harry, I step between them, pushing my hands against Liam's chest.

"Why are you kissing him?!" Liam shouts with rage that I have never seen. His face is red from exhaustion, and his fist are bawled at his side.

"Don't play innocent with me!" I shout back. "You kissed Lia on your little meet up with her," I can feel my eyes starting to form tears at the edge, before I know it, tears are sliding down my cheeks.

"I didn't kiss her, she kissed me!" His voice was still loud. Liam grabbed my wrist as soon as he noticed I was crying, but I gently shook him away.

"Is this the truth?" I ask, not looking at Liam.

"Yes," He breathes out. "I wouldn't lie to you." His face is now concerned, as he searches my eyes. He almost looks as if he's about to cry.

I realize what a stupid decision it was to go and kiss Harry. I look up too see Harry, with a shocked but confused look on his face.

"And here you are kissing Harry by choice," Liam's face changed from worried and concerned, to disappointed and angry.

"Liam I," I stutter at first trying to find the words. "I didn't know Lia kissed you, okay? I thought you were kissing each other." I rub a finger over my temple, knowing how stupid I was just a few minutes ago. Liam gives me an annoyed look, before stepping up to Harry.

"If you ever lay a hand on her again, so help me god, I will beat the living fuck out of you," Liam has Harry pinned against the wall now. Harry roughly pushes Liam off him, before looking at me.

"Emily?" Harry searches my eyes, looking for some type of sign, that will tell him our kiss meant something. Unfortunately, I can't give him that sign.

"Harry, I-" I start, but before I can say anything, Liam grabs the wrist of my arm, dragging me out of Harry's house.

"Let go of me," I say harshly, once we reach Liam's car. Liam doesn't bother to look at me, but instead he just gets into the drivers seat.

Angrily, I get in the passenger seat, slamming the door.

"You shouldn't be the one who's all pissy right now," Liam states. "I just caught-"

"You shouldn't be the one who's all pissy right now!" I mock his British accent, buckling my seatbelt.

"Emily, act like an adult." He says, starting the engine, and pulling out of here as fast as he can.

"Act like an adult? Adults, at least the ones that are mature enough, tell each other where they are going and don't sneak behind each others backs! Especially adults that are dating!" I protest even more, stating my point by the second. I'm still crying, as I rub a hand over my eye.

"I'm sorry," Liam says, his fist slamming against the steering wheel.

"Emily, I'm not perfect, and I never will be," He starts, his voice choking up for a second. "Lia was in the past Emily, you have to remember that. You know I don't like to go back to my past, and that's what she is. I know she might be a little crazy, and I have no clue what she is planning, but whatever happens, it will be in the future, and I know you will be there with me all the steps of the way. I'm sorry, and I don't know what the future holds for us, but I hope I will be with you, and that's all that matters," By the time Liam is done, I'm crying heavily and steady now.

He stops and parks the car, just outside the apartment building I live in.

"Liam," I can't say anymore, so all I do is lean over and press my lips to his.

As my lips are pressed to his, I can taste my own tears that have now smeared across my face. His hands find their way to the small of my back, and gently pick me up, so I'm on his lap. My lips leave his, so I can try adjusting myself in the seat. Unfortunately, when I bend back, my butt presses against the steering wheel and a loud 'honk' escapes from the car. This gets the attention of some people, making Liam and I laugh together.

And that, was probably one of the most beautiful sounds I have ever heard in my life.

To my surprise, the apartment is actually really clean, when we unlock the door and step in.

Liam's hand is still clenching mine, as I walk over to the couch and sigh in relief.

"This is probably one of the most eventful years, in my entire life," I admit, his other hand grabbing my free hand.

"I know it is, and I'm sorry," Liam says, looking down a little sadly.

"But I wouldn't take it back for anything," He smiles when I say this, looking up at me, smiling as he leans over to kiss me. For a second, we just sit on the couch, enjoying all the silence and non-drama we can get. Our eyes never leave one another, making it even better, because now I have time to study him.

"Maybe we should go lay down," Liam suggests, making me raise an eyebrow.

"It's noon?" I say it as if it was a question, before slightly laughing.

"You're point?" He asks, getting up and taking my hand.

"True," I giggle as he takes his shirt off, along with his pants. We're not even in my room yet.

Once we get in my room, I throw my shirt off, along with my pants, feeling so much more comfortable.

We both snuggle under the covers, my back facing him as he spoons me.

We lay there, for what seems like forever, enjoying the silence. His hand is gently wrapped around my waist, while the other hand plays with my hair. I find myself taking both my hands, and holding his hand that is draped over my waist.

It's a nice feeling, and I wish this is how we could stay forever.

"I love you," I say suddenly.

"I love you, Emily," And that's the last thing I hear, before my eyelids grow heavy.
