Dawn's POV

'Where the hell are you going?'

I groan in pain as I felt his hand gripped mine.

'Let me go' I growled

'Were you trying to run?'

'NO!' Actually yes but not from you though.

'Oh really? Cause from my point of view, you were trying to escape' he said with a hint of smugness in his voice. Why was he smug?  I'm not sure.

I badly wanted to punch his face but decided against it.

'That's because you have a biased opinion about me. You always assume that I'd do the worst. Well, newsflash Mr. Alpha! I haven't done anything to deserve your ill behavior towards me and it irritates me  so much that you think you know me so much just because I'm a rogue.'

He stood still, surprised by my outburst  while I scanned the place. Darn it, I could still feel Jacob's presence and he is getting close.

'Dawn, I've been looking everywhere for you. Oh, Levi what are you doing here? ' Carly asked as she noticed Levi who was still frozen in his place. She was about to ask another question when I decided to interrupt her.

'Are those our dresses?' I asked reffering to the paper bags she was holding. 'And where's Auntie Amanda?'

Mercifully I was able to sway our conversation.

'Yes and mom's with dad. She said they're going out for dinner and we should go home together.'

Seeing the opportunity to leave, I grabbed some of the bags she was holding,  dragging her and walked towards the parking lot.

'W-wait!'

I stopped walking actually ,feeling somewhat guilty that I dragged her.
'Sorry.' I muttered while at the same time looking around.
'Who are you looking for?' She asked, looking around too as she did.

'Um no one.' I shook my head. 'So how are gonna get back? We drove your mom's car earlier. '

'Yeah about that, Levi's the one whos gonna drive us back to the pack house.'

'Really? Doesn't he have better things to do? Like running the pack perhaps? Or maybe training new pups? ' I asked sarcastically.

'Did you guys fight again? '

The answer this time came from no other than Levi himself. Apparently, he was following us.

'No' I rolled my eyes at him. Jerk. ' We are actually getting to know each other.' He finished while looking at me mischievously.

Carly gaped at us. I scowled at him.

'Getting to know each other? You guys are dating?'

It was my turn to gape at Carly.

'Of course not! What a ridiculous thing to say Carly!'

'What? I was just asking. Besides you have my blessing if you guys will start dating.'

'Hush. Stop talking nonsense Carly. I think we should go home. You're tired'

The trip home was really awkward. Well, for me. Carly kept singing Love Yourself while Levi kept giving me strange glances. I roll my eyes in return. He doesn't even look away even when  I catch him staring at me. In the end, it was me who avoid his gaze. Geez.  Even so, I was thankful that I didn't see Jacob again. But I'm pretty sure he's gonna tell John about me. Just like what he said, his loyalty lies to John.
