Love In The Invasion

Chapter 3

Eunwoo jumped and hugged Chorong then cried on her shoulder and sobbed "Noona, I'm so glad you're here. I thought I was going to be alone here forever" Chorong patted his back and said "It's okay Eunwoo, I'm here" the boy is 6 years younger than Chorong but only a 2 years younger than Jimin. Eunwoo is one of the orphans that Chorong had befriended but he always had a smile on his face when she saw him but now, he's crying his heart out on her.

"They're gone, they disappeared, those aliens took everybody. Moonbin, Sanha, JinJin GONE! JinJin hyung told me to hide and run but when he ran the other direction, he was sucked into one of the tubes and disappeared. I hid under the blanket until I heard nothing left around me. I cried after looking around and saw no one there. I should've told them to do this too, I should've tried to save them, I should- I should've" Eunwoo's eyes were about to tear up once more but Chorong said "It's okay, I'm here now. You're not alone but you should get some rest" Eunwoo nodded as he quickly drifted to sleep on one of the beds.

Chorong sighed and looked at Choco, she was silently staring at Chorong as she wagged her tail. Chorong smiled and said "We're not alone Choco, so let's go catch some zzs and see if there are still more people tomorrow". Choco jumped on the bed next to Eunwoo's bed, and went to sleep, Chorong smiled and fell asleep next to Choco.

The sun rose in the early morning, it's sunlight shone on Eunwoo and Chorong's face, waking both of them up. Chorong groaned and said "Mom, close the windows" she opened her eyes and found herself in somewhere odd, then realized what happened. She sighed and said "right, I forgot". She glanced at Eunwoo who was already sitting up in bed with an expressionless face. Chorong then asked "are you okay?" Eunwoo nodded and said "I'm used to waking up to seeing myself without my family around but seeing myself alone without the others is hard to get used to" Chorong placed her hand on his back and said "we'll get them back, you don't have to get used to this. Just for a few days, then we'll get everybody back somehow" Eunwoo weakly smiled at Chorong and said "thanks Noona", Chorong smiled back at him and said "now go change and pack some things that you need, we need to start early for a new search. If there are other survivors then we can make an army and fight those aliens" Eunwoo nodded and jumped off the bed then wandered somewhere else.

Chorong got off the bed and saw Choco jumping around looking so energized. Chorong smiled and said "you hungry boy? Huh?" Choco stuck her tongue out as if he was saying yes. "Okay then, let's see what's in my bag Oh! Look some doggy treats. It's a good thing we still had some left after..... Nevermind that here you go" she threw a doggy treat at Choco and he caught it.

Soon after, Eunwoo came wearing a pair of black jeans, a brown T-shirt, and black rubber shoes. He had a black backpack hanging on his left shoulder as he said "okay, I packed everything important. So, shall we?" Chorong nodded and said "come on Choco". They left the building and started walking in the early morning.

"So, where's Jimin hyung?" asked Eunwoo as they walked on the bumpy road. Chorong's face fell after hearing Jimin's name but she said "I tried to save him but he made me let go and he got abducted while the other aliens gave up on trying to get me" Eunwoo was shocked, he looked down and said "Sorry noona, I didn-" "It's okay Eunwoo, we'll get him back soon" Chorong reassured him and they continued to walk.

"So the plan is to look for all the survivors, create an army, and rise up against the aliens?" Eunwoo asked, Chorong nodded and said "hopefully, not everyone got abducted and that the aliens stayed in their spaceships so we can freely wander now. So we must watch out" Eunwoo nodded. "Besides, even if it's just the two of us, we can beat them with whatever is left here" Chorong kept her eyes on the road and didn't make any eye contact with Eunwoo.

"It's a good thing you have a lot of confidence and courage" Eunwoo stated "Why is that?" "well, I lost my confidence after getting bullied for being an orphan and I lost my courage after a bunch of killers killed my parents right before my eyes" Eunwoo kept a straight face but Chorong could see the sadness in his eyes telling her to save him from the sea of sorrow. Chorong placed her hand on his shoulder and said "we'll get your confidence and your courage back, from now on, you need to start seeing the happy part of everything or the positive side of every problem. That's one of the things I knew you could do".

"Thanks noona" Eunwoo gave her a thankful smile and Chorong gave him a short hug. Until they heard a loud crash that echoed in the empty streets. "What was that?" asked Eunwoo as he looked around in fear that there would be something dangerous lurking around. "Don't worry, I'm sure it's either another survivor or just another animal" Chorong reassured Eunwoo but Choco was growling at where the loud sound came from. "Relax Choco, We must check it out before we jump to conclusions" said Chorong but that didn't stop Choco from staying alert.

Chorong slowly walked towards it with Eunwoo behind her and Choco right next to her. She picked up a stick and went closer to it. The sound came from behind a bricked-building so they had to go around it.

The peeped at what was behind the building and found a spaceship. It crash landed and something was walking out of it. It had an odd figure, for better recognition, Eunwoo and Chorong leaned forward but then the thing looked back in their direction so they had to hide back behind the wall. Eunwoo and Chorong exchanged glances after they recognized what they saw. An alien.
