Love In The Invasion

Chapter 5

"So many survivors" Eunwoo stated and Chorong nodded, Choco then ran away from them but they didn't run after him. They just watched were he was headed to, he ran after a guy who was quite tall and thin and had light brown hair.

Chorong and Eunwoo were about to run to the guy holding Choco but then the other survivors had cornered them. Chorong and Eunwoo exchanged glances and put their hands up to shoulder level and said "we're survivors too! I'm Park Chorong, and this is Cha Eunwoo who is-" Chorong stopped speaking when she saw a man walking towards them. His shoulders were broad, his body was buff but his face was covered by a hood. Chorong and Eunwoo grew anxious as they stared at the man walking towards them.

As the man was only a few feet away from them, he took off his hood, revealing his face, Chorong lost her anxiety and said "Doojoon Oppa?" the man smiled and said "Hello Chorong" Chorong ran to him and hugged him and said "we thought you died in the fire last year!" Doojoon ignored her statement and said "I'm so glad you're safe Chorong". Eunwoo just stood there staring at them until Chorong realized that she had come with him and said "Oh! Right, this is my friend Cha Eunwoo" Doojoon nodded and yelled "Everyone! No need to be alarmed! My friend Chorong and her friend Eunwoo are one of us!" Everyone cheered and clapped making Chorong and Eunwoo feel more welcomed.

Chorong then looked up to Doojoon and said "Where's Choco?" Doojoon furrowed his eyebrows and said "Who's Choco?" Chorong sighed and said "The dog we came with" Doojoon thought for a while and said "Aahh.... You mean Lulu? His name isn't Choco, it's Lulu and he belongs one of the Chinese survivors named Luhan" Chorong nodded and said "So where is this Luhan guy? I wanna play with Cho- I mean Lulu again" Doojoon nodded and pointed at the Luhan guy then said "but before that, I need to talk to you in private" Chorong looked around for Eunwoo just in case, and found him smiling happily with a bunch of people who looked his age, at least he was enjoying himself. Chorong nodded and said "okay".

Doojoon and Chorong just began walking while Doojoon asked "so, where's Jimin and your parents" Chorong sighed and said "they were abducted, my parents were abducted first so I had to protect Jimin but he got abducted as well and I was the only one left, luckily, Lulu and Eunwoo was there to keep me company" Doojoon nodded but when he was about to say something next Chorong asked "how are you still alive? I thought you died in a fire last year" Doojoon sighed and said "a few people just got mad at me, so mad that they tried to kill me, I then faked my death and people gossiped that I was dead" Chorong nodded and said "what did you do to make them so mad?" Doojoon sighed again and said "don't worry Chorong, that's my problem not yours" Chorong nodded and asked "where are we going?" Doojoon looked at her arm and said "you have a few wounds on your arm so I'm going to have someone treat it". Chorong's eyes widened as she looked at her arm and said "What? Where'd these come from?"

"Asshh.... Ouch" Chorong winced as Dr. Yang placed some medicine on her arm. "Please hold still" ordered the doctor then Doojoon said "there's no way to keep her still Yoseob". Chorong's eyebrows furrowed and asked "you know each other?" Doojoon nodded and said "after hours of the invasion, I was looking around for people ,for survivors, then he found me. He treated a few of my wounds and well, now he takes care of everyone" Chorong nodded and asked "so, how many people do you think you've found?" Doojoon looked up a bit and said "well in my guess, 250 have come to us but we've found 500 people" . Chorong nodded and said "you've found so many people in 2 days, and in those 2 days, I only found Cho-Lulu and Eunwoo" Doojoon chuckled and said "I knew something like this would happen, so I warned people and now, they're here" Chorong nodded and said "you know a lot of people then" Doojoon shook his head and said "no, that's why internet is so useful".

After they had treated Chorong, she waved goodbye to Dr. Yang and said "Thanks Doc!" and closed the door behind her. Suddenly she heard soft barking, she looked down and found Lulu at her feet, wagging his tail while looking up to Chorong. Chorong picked him up and said "geez, why couldn't you have told me that your name was Lulu and not Choco?" she fake pouted then a voice said "you think he'll be able to answer you? I'd be literally amazed if he did or scared" Chorong's eyes widened as she asked "You can talk?!" she heard a chuckle then the voice said "no, it was me" She looked around and saw the Luhan guy leaning on a wall with his hands in his pockets. "Oh, right hehe" Chorong laughed nervously as she put down the dog and said "dogs can't talk" Luhan approached her and said "the name's Luhan" he offered his hand to her and she took it and said "Park Chorong" they shook hands. Until the atmosphere around them got silent and awkward. Luckily, Eunwoo came running to break the silence as he yelled "Noona! Noona!" Chorong looked back and Eunwoo slowed down as he got closer to them. "What is it Eunwoo?" Chorong looked worried to the young boy and he looked up then said "do you know where the restroom is?" Chorong pouted and hit him then said "geez Eunwoo, I thought it was something serious" then Luhan pointed to the left and said "the restroom is that way" Eunwoo nodded and headed to the left.

"Anyway....." Chorong faced Luhan again and said "I'm kind of new here.... So can you..." "show you around? Why not?" Luhan finished her sentence then grabbed her wrist and said "and I know just where to start". He began running the other direction as they went through a tunnel. "Um Luhan, are you sure you know where you're going?" Luhan continued running and replied "don't worry, I go here all the time" "where is here exactly?" Luhan smirked and said "you'll see".

He lead her to somewhere deep within the hideout, somewhere dark, then Luhan let go of her hand. "Luhan? Luhan?" Chorong could barely see anything in the dark and then there was light. She saw so many glowing dots on the ceiling and said "what is this?" then someone whispered "they're glow worms" Chorong jumped a bit and said "oh, it's just you" Luhan then said "shhh loud noises make them disappear" he then clapped his hands and they stopped glowing. After 5 seconds, they began to glow again and he said "you know, how these worms glow are like how your eyes shine when I first looked into them".
