Love In The Invasion

Chapter 20

Chorong looked around and panicked, she held onto Suga's arm, her nails were digging into his skin but Suga didn't care. He needed to protect her.

The door then opened with a very bright light shining through it. Chorong shaded her eyes with her hand and so did Suga but they had to see the shaded figure in front of the very bright light.

The light darkened as the figure walked closer to them, it was a female figure. She looked very strict, she looked like a typical business woman but without the intimidating glasses. She walked towards them with her heels creating a clacking sound. Chorong let go of Suga's arm but Suga was slowly moving in front of Chorong.

"Hello human, I'm Kahi, The leader or head of the aliens" the lady had a very proper posture then she glared at Suga. "What are you doing here? Why are you out of your cell?" Kahi's eyes flickered to a shade of blue then back to its original color.

Suga gulped then Chorong spoke up "I broke him out, is there a problem?". Kahi looked at her "You, you already have gotten back one of your friends why did you make us lose all of our humans?". Chorong was getting nervous and scared "everyone deserves freedom, especially my friends".

Kahi smirked "you'll never find them, you'll only get them if you bring us aliens what we need. But for now, take away Mr. Min". Two aliens behind her began approaching Suga but Chorong stood in front of him "no, you're not taking him". Chorong stood tall and strong and glared at the two aliens.

The two aliens backed away then Kahi smirked "if we can't take him, then we'll take you" she snapped her fingers then two aliens came again and grabbed Chorong by the arms. Suga panicked and tried to pull her away from their grip but Chorong pushed Suga away and the aliens took her away.

But before the aliens took Chorong away from Kahi's sight, Chorong said "take me, free my family and Eunwoo" Kahi smirked at her "we'll set them free with Mr. Min". Chorong was then taken away by the aliens. Suga ,on the other hand, tried to run after her and yelled her name repeatedly but Kahi snapped her fingers and Suga disappeared from the spaceship and appeared on the bridge the spaceship floated on.

Few seconds later, three people appeared unconscious beside Suga. One was awake and that one was Eunwoo, "Suga" he muttered with shock in his eyes. Suga sighed "just help me carry them back to the hideout" Eunwoo nodded and he carried Chorong's mom on his back while Suga carried Chorong's dad and Jimin with their arms around his shoulders.

It was a very long walk, but they made it back to the hideout where the people had increased once again. Suga found V waiting for him and Joy hanging out with the people they had saved from the spaceship.

Joy ran up to him and so did Yoseob. He took the family of Chorong to their small hospital. Joy ran to Suga and looked behind him, her smile faded as she asked "where's Chorong?" Suga sighed then Eunwoo grabbed Suga's collar "Where is Chorong noona?! What have you done?!". Suga sighed "she sacrificed herself to save you and her family".

Eunwoo was shocked and let go of Suga ,slowly, Joy gasped and tears flowed down her cheeks. Eunwoo couldn't accept the truth "sh-sh- she sa-sac-sacrificed herself?". Eunwoo fell to his knees "why didn't you stop her? He asked Suga without looking at him. "She pushed me away, that's why" Suga answered.

"SUGA!" yelled a male voice. Suga turned around and found Yoseob running towards them as if he ran a hundred kilometers. "What's wrong?" Suga asked "well, since Chorong isn't here, Doojoon is still unconscious and Luhan is too weak. I think you're in charge but Luhan's awake and normal again!" Yoseob said.

Suga nodded "that's good to know but what about Chorong's family?". Yoseob sighed sadly, "I was able to keep their hearts beating but the parents' hearts, they're weak. The Invasion caused them too much shock, they might not last long". Suga sighed as well, imagine saving Chorong but her family isnt-

"What about her brother?" Suga was hoping for a good answer because Chorong has always cried about not being able to have saved her brother. Hopefully, her brother is alright.

"He's fine, he'd practically just sleeping in the hospital. He's snoring too" Yoseob gave good news and Suga sighed in relief.

Eunwoo smiled also hearing at least one good news. He then stood up "let's go save Chorong". Suga nodded and they both headed out to the portal but someone said "Wait!". Both Eunwoo and Suga turned around and found V walking up to them. "It's a bit stupid to go back there without a plan" V raised his eyebrows at them.

"We'll save Chorong and make it back safely" Eunwoo said "that isn't a plan, that's a wishlist" V said in a matter-of-fact way.

"I know my way in that spaceship better than any human and/or alien. I'm coming so you wouldn't get locked up at first sight" V said and gave them a weak smile. "Why do you want to help us?" Eunwoo asked.

"I have two reasons" said V. "1 is because Suga helped me, I'm just returning the favor. 2 is because the girl you're trying to save is cool, so Suga might have to watch out if someone would steal her" V smirked at Suga and they headed out.

But before Suga went through the portal out, he yelled "JOY! YOU'RE IN CHARGE!". They then walked straight back to the spaceship they had just escaped from.

"The plan is simple, we pass the other way of our secret passageway within the walls. We check every room to see is Chorong is there. We need to split up so if get gets caught the other two can come and save him or one will save the one that is caught and that will distract the aliens, the other one who isn't doing anything can hurry and look for Chorong, hopefully, that person will find her before the two get imprisoned again" V explained the plan and Suga and Eunwoo nodded, understanding the plan.

"So who'll get caught?" Eunwoo asked and Suga and V just stared at him. Eunwoo sighed "fine, who'll come save me?" he asked. "V will, because he'll get to you faster since he knows the spaceship better than any human and/or alien" Suga answered.

V sighed "then Suga here will have to go save Chorong, his favorite part of this plan" V mocked him at the end of his sentence. Suga stuck his tongue out at V and V did the same thing to Suga. Eunwoo sighed "okay, we can either stay here and watch you two be immature or we can go save Chorong and show those aliens who's the boss".

They slowly entered the spaceship using V's secret passageway within the walls. "Eunwoo, watch out for the wires" warned Suga but Eunwoo accidentally stepped on one "ouch, it stings". The continued to walk but V suddenly stopped.

"Suga start going ahead" V said "Why?" Suga asked "This room has a lot of guards in it, we can distract all of them while you go find Chorong. Tap the ceiling if you found her so we can start distracting the guards, hopefully nothing will go wrong with the plan" V said.

"So what does that mean?" Eunwoo asked "It means, when you hear a tap on the ceiling, I'll push you to a bunch of guards and all you need to do is keep them from putting you in jail again" V gave him a sarcastic smile and Eunwoo sighed in defeat "please find Chorong quickly" he pleaded to Suga.

Suga walked ahead, looking through the small peep holes in the walls to find Chorong. He passed through so many rooms, found so many weird things but no Chorong in sight. His legs were weakening but he had to keep going. She didn't give up to find her family so he won't give up to find her.

One last room, he peeped in it. "Chorong!" he said then walked out of the wall and ran to her. She was sitting on the floor, her back facing him, and she was staring at the floor. Suga ran to her with his focus all on her but when he was one step away from her, Suga got stabbed in the back.
