Love In The Invasion

Chapter 11

"Noona!" yelled Woozi as he looked around for Chorong. "Oh! There she is!" he found her talking to another girl that looked a bit younger than her.

He ran to her with his little legs as fast as he could then hugged her waist when he got to her. "Oh! Woozi! What's wrong?" Chorong patted the little boy when he looked up to her and looked sad.

"Noona.... Ahjussi left me!! *pouting* he's soo mean!" Woozi pouted and crossed his arms in front of his chest. Chorong chuckled "I'll talk to ahjussi and fight with him for leaving you okay?" Woozi clapped and jumped in excitement "yay!". "But for the meantime, why don't you play with some of your friends, I have something to talk about with Dahyun here okay? I'll call you when I'll beat the ahjussi up". Woozi nodded then ran to the bunch of kids playing together.

Chorong watched him leave and said "I'm glad you're safe Dahyun" Dahyun was close to tears "but unnie, it's all my fault that you couldn't reach Eunwoo and save him". Chorong patted her back, "it's okay, every person is important. I was just too slow to reach Eunwoo in time so it's not your fault". Tears were rolling down her cheeks "But unnie... you and the other guy could've saved way more people if you didn't save only me". Chorong took out a handkerchief and handed it to her. "Wipe your tears, I know I can't convince you that it isn't your fault but I couldn't scold you if it was. Put the smile you had when you saw me back on try to think more positively because I have a plan to save everyone. But this is just our secret, okay?" Dahyun nodded and so did Chorong "now excuse me, but I have to show someone a lesson for leaving a 7-year-old kid alone".

Chorong left Dahyun and went to Woozi, "Woozi-ah" he looked at her "let's go beat up that ahjusshi" Woozi nodded and waved cutely to his friends. He ran to her and grabbed her hand "that ahjusshi will regret being mean to me" He walked ahead of her so she had her arm extended to him.

"Over there!" Woozi pointed at a man just leaning on a wall with his hands in his pockets. Chorong smirked and yelled "Suga-yah!" Suga looked at her and a smile flashed on his face. She got to him before Woozi did so Woozi wouldn't hear what she would tell Suga. She whispered "Woozi's mad at you for leaving him so pretend that I'm beating you up". Suga sighed and just nodded 'you can't beat a 7-year-old kid'.

Chorong threw a punch at his face without actually hitting his face and Suga acted and fell to the floor. Woozi clapped his hands and said "Noona! My turn!" Suga sighed again and muttered "I thought kids wouldn't be so violent".

Woozi knelt on his knees and lightly hit Suga, he was probably using all his might but it was weak for a young kid like him. Chorong giggled "come on Woozi, make him apologize since he learned his lesson". "Apologize! You mean ahjusshi" Woozi stood up strongly. Suga faked a cough and weakly said "I'm so sorry.." Woozi nodded accepting the apology and said "Noona! Can I play with him again?" Chorong nodded "go ahead, call me when you're done". Suga gave her a 'what?!' face, she smirked and mouthed 'have fun!'.

Chorong was about to walk further from Suga and Woozi but realized "Why are there so few people here? Where are the others?". Chorong began running around, looking for Doojoon. She checked his room, the cafeteria, the hospital, but nothing. It's impossible for aliens to have taken him.

Chorong ran back to Suga and Woozi. Woozi was casually holding on to Suga's hand "what's wrong? Why do you look so worried?" Chorong sighed "where'd everybody go?" Suga shrugged "Doojoon just lead a bunch of people out with weapons in their hands then went out, don't know where to though, didn't he tell you? Or maybe we didn't listen because we were watching Woozi". "Wait.... Ahjusshi's name is Suga? Then can I call him Candy Ahjusshi?" Woozi's eyes sparkled at the adorable thought. "Go ahead" said Chorong.

"Suga, Woozi, come with me, I have a few things to check on"

"Like what?"

"Like figuring out where they went" Chorong flexed her jaw. "If it has something to do with alien bait, Doojoon is so dead".

Woozi held Suga's hand as they followed behind Chorong. "Is noona mad?" Woozi gave a worried expression to Suga. "No, maybe she's just worried for someone" Suga reassured the kid, it's not like he can tell Woozi 'she is about to scold a man older than her for a reason related to the alien invasion'. Woozi doesn't even know about the aliens.

Chorong headed towards the exit, the way going back to the surface. "Chorong! Chorong!" Suga called her out. "What?!" Chorong snapped at him. "We have to find them, where else would they go other than here!" Chorong went straight out and Suga immediately ran after her with Woozi with him of course.

Chorong reached the top, which was the shed where the underground pathway started. It was empty, she continued walking. She walked out of the shed and still, nobody was there. She looked around, to find more people and to see if there were any aliens lurking around.

"Chorong! Chorong!" Chorong looked back and only saw Suga with Woozi on his back. Right, I forgot I told them to follow me Chorong thought. She looked at Woozi on Suga's back, he's asleep. "Stay by my side, I have to watch both of you since both of you are now my responsibility" Chorong ordered.

She walked while grabbing on the sleeve of Suga. Woozi didn't snore so there was no problem in carrying him as he slept.

"Chorong, are you sure they would've gone here?" she shook her head "not here specifically because I have a few things to pick up". They were heading to her house. "Where are we going exactly?" asked Suga "My house, it's pretty safe" Chorong answered.

They got to her house and she started breaking the floor boards. "What the hell are you doing?" Chorong looked at Suga "oh right, he's sleeping, I'll keep it low". She still continued breaking the floor. "No, that's not what I mean, why are you breaking the floor?" Suga asked, Chorong answered him while getting rid of the wooden floor "My dad hid a huge shotgun under the floorboards and only told me about it....... He told me to use it for an emergency only....... He knew my mom would get mad if she knew there was a gun in the house........ And my brother would want to see it......Aha! I got it!" She got the gun out and loaded it.

"How do you even know how to do that?" Suga whispered "My dad taught me, he's a chief officer" Chorong answered calmly and continued "he once gave me two guns for a different emergency but that's back in the underground hide-out. I took it with me after the invasion. Okay, let's continue walking. If we find them.... I'm going to interrogate Doojoon".

They walked and walked until Chorong suddenly stopped. "What is it?" Suga asked, "I hear someone breathing" Suga looked around and adjusted Woozi on his back. Chorong then looked around for the person and found a foot sticking out behind a tree. "There!" she pointed and ran towards the person.

Chorong gasped "Luhan!" she knelt down to him. Scars covered his arm, there was a huge bump on his forehead and he had a black-eye.

His eyes opened "Chorong?" "What happened?" she asked. "Doojoon hyung told us to go fight the aliens that were right outside the shed so we all went out and followed him. He told us to make sure you didn't follow us. There were 3 spaceships outside. Over 20 aliens came out and shot us with some kind of gun that made the people disappear. Then their guns ran out of power, and just attacked us. They hit my arm with so many sharp things then hit my head. I fell to the floor and they thought I was dead so they left me here to rot and went after everyone else. Along with Doojoon hyung".

Tears rolled down her cheeks and she helped him up by putting an arm around her. "Come on, we have to take you back" Chorong walked with him beside her. "Suga! We're going back" Chorong told him. "What hap-" "No time to explain, let's just hurry back" she cut Suga off.

As they walked passed him and Woozi, Luhan spoke "Chorong" "What is it?" Chorong asked and Luhan continued "The aliens mentioned...... a name...... it was....... Min Yoongi".
