Chapter 13

Girl Talk.

I ring the doorbell then put my hands behind me, crossing my fingers as I wait for answer.

The door opens.

"Hi, how may I help you?" she asked with a bright smile, wiping her hands at her apron. I pinch my side to stop myself from admiring her beauty even though she's just in casual clothing.

"Hi, sorry for disturbing you but I was wondering if you saw my pet? He ran off around this neighborhood." I greeted her with a sad smile. I'm putting all my acting skills on this one.

"What does he look like?"

"A grumpy little dog with caramel brown fur and grayish blue eyes."

"Awww, what's his name?"

"Kai."

Whoof! Whoof!

"Oh my gosh! I think that's him!" I run to the side of her house until I reach the back. When I look over my shoulder I saw her following behind.

Gotcha!

"Is he here?" she asked, bending down to look at the bushes around her backyard.

I stopped and faced her. "Yep. They're here.'

"They?"

In a blink of an eye the Guardians appeared, each had a hand at my shoulders. The princess gasped. She tries to run back to the house but a solid wall of rock appeared in front of her, blocking her way.

She put her hand forward then the rock exploded.

Whoa! Man, she's scarier than these dudes!

Another wall came and it's made of fire. She waves her hand again and the fire disappeared but series of electric waves followed.

She keeps on blasting the walls each time as she keeps on advancing towards her front door.

"Why can't you stop her?" I asked them.

"Guardians cannot harm royal blood." says Xiumin as his wall of ice was destroyed by the princess.

"I didn't say hurting her. Can't you guys at least calm her down? Make her sleep or immobilize her for a sec so we can get to her."

When a wall of water appeared in front of the princess, she looks back at us. Giving us a death glare before taking a deep breath and when she faced the water again, she uses both of her hands raising it up, taking the water and quickly throws it towards us.

I close my eyes for the impact but nothing came. When I opened my eyes everything around us is drenched except me and the daemons.

I felt someone grabbed my hand and I was being pulled. I tried to keep up but it was really fast. When we stopped, we were right in front of the princess.

She gasped.

"Why are you running from us?"

It was Kai. He's the one who pulled me by the hand.

"Daemons!" the princess screams pointing behind Kai. Both Kai and I looked at that direction then I heard Kai yelled in pain clutching his foot. The Princess is already gone. She went inside her house and closed the door with force.

I let go of Kai's hand and run after her.

I bang my hands on the door.

"Princess open this door! We just want to talk to you!"
