Pause and Play

Insane.

The crowd is insane.

It was the first day of the concert. Getting inside the stadium had been a real struggle with all these fans who can't get enough of their excitement on seeing their idols.

"Come on Krystal, let's buy Nini's shirt so he will notice us." Amber pulls my hand towards the merchandise booth located next to the closed ticketing booth.

"It's going to be dark inside, I doubt he will even be able to see what we're wearing." I said as we get in line.

"Don't worry I have banners for that. Here hold his derp face for me."

"His what?"

Amber passed me two cutout face portraits of her idol. One with a cute animated blush and one with a sexy look. "Are they twins? Which one is Nini?"

Amber surprised the few fans beside us. "That's Nini! I told you he's an adorable puddle at day but at night he transforms into a demon."

I look back at the two pictures. Demon, huh.

Yeah, this Nini is alright, he looks cute and cool but I don't think he's as good-looking as the daemon that I know.

The members have full size posters all over the stadium and admittedly all of them are attractive. Maybe it's my bias mind taking over but I think my daemon friends are better. I stares at Nini's poster, he got a blonde hair and by the looks of it, he's quite tall too, maybe the same height as Kai. They both have this 'I'm too cool for this' aura but then maybe this Nini is just projecting a concept while Kai is being his normal self.

"Krystal?!"

I turn to the person who screamed my name. "Luna?"

Luna and Sulli, two of the few female students of Brakenreid High School came over to us. Luna's wearing the same Exo planet white shirt as Amber and she's carrying a lightstick and a couple of banners too, Sulli also has her banners but she's wearing a different EXO shirt.

"I didn't know you two are EXO-L's." says Sulli.

"Amber's crazy about them. You should see our room."

"So do we!" they both squeals in delight and the three of them started jumping up and down, screaming. Amber is so out of character I wonder if it's still normal.

I look at the people around us, they were also doing the same excited dances and girls trying to contain their blissfulness. I guess this is normal in concerts.

We were almost at the booth when I thought I can feel someone staring at me. I look behind me, no one seems to be looking at me longer than a second. Then I felt a small breeze of the wind on my right, I turn to look but nothing out of the ordinary is there. A small group of fans were chatting next to us but I don't think it was them who made the wind blow.

I shook my head, I'm getting paranoid. I could have sworn I felt something brush my right arm.

We reached the booth. I ended up buying a simple lightstick since I don't have their official lightstick and I can't afford to buy one. I also bought two small EXO keychains, mainly because Amber insisted on having paired Nini keychains same as her.

It turns out we were almost at the same section at the left side of the stage with Luna and Sulli. Even though I'm not really an avid fan, I can feel the excitement in the air. I can't help but get their happy vibe. It's like we're waiting for New Year's Eve countdown but this one is more intense.
