"good morning." was enough to make hoseok rise from the couch to see yoongi laying at his side. his blonde hair was in a mess and his boat neck shirt dipped down so far you could see a hint of definition in his chest. it felt good to know he wasn't the only one hungover.

"good morning." hoseok replied, his voice husky and cracked from screaming at the top of his lungs last night. in his opinion, the party wasn't even that fun. or maybe he was just too drunk. the world may never know.

"do you want to go grab some coffee from the shop down the street?" yoongi asked, his voice also deep from the hectic event prior to this. coffee sounded great. well, anything sounded great right now to the two hungover teenagers.

"i'll go get dressed." hoseok said, disappearing into the bedroom where his belongings were. yoongi was already dressed, and he had been waiting for what seemed like forever for the younger to wake up and get coffee with him. he had noticed that hoseok had forgotten to shut the door, and yoongi decided that maybe a little peek at the boy's bare body couldn't hurt. he snuck around the hallway and poked his eye into the bedroom that contained hoseok, who was completely bare. his chest was perfectly lined with carved muscles and little freckles here and there. his legs were a beautiful, tanned, honey color and were just as muscular as his chest. the boy really was beautiful.

the two boys headed out down the sidewalk down to the coffee shop, both wearing heavy coats and beanies due to the cold weather. the shop wasn't too far away and it was hoseok's first time there, so he had no idea what to get.

"hello! how may i help you?" the short lady behind the counter asked. yoongi was quick to answer, but hoseok on the other hand was confused. there was so many options on the menu, he had no idea.

"just get me an caramel macchiato please." he asked faintly. the two headed to a table right next to a window and sat down.

"ho-hoseok." yoongi stuttered while staring at the younger boy.

"yeah?" hoseok asked, turning his head away from the window and resting his hand on his cold face.

"i don't know if you could tell yet, but i.... i like you. more than a friend, at least." yoongi said as he put his frigid hand on hoseok's. it felt good to finally let the secret out, almost like a thousand pound weight was lifted from his chest.

"wow..." hoseok looked around. what did he say? thank you? no one had ever liked him like that before, it was almost surreal."yoongi, i like you a little more than a friend, too."

and just with that small sentence, yoongi's whole world brightened.
---

the boys spent the rest of the day at a park not too far from the coffee shop. they walked down a path lined with purple and blue flowers, and trees covering the blazing sun.

"you look very cute in all black." hoseok said, staring down at his feet.

yoongi blushed and held his hand on his cheek so hoseok wouldn't see. he mumbled a small "thanks." and wrapped hoseok's hand around his. the rest of the walk in the park they stayed that way; completely in love with eachother.
