                    ~yoongi's pov~

my heart was racing and my palms were sweaty. the world around me was spinning, and my stomach was in a knot. all that was before me was hoseok's closed door, waiting to be opened. i knocked once more, hoping to speed up the process.

"yoongi?" a muffled voice called through the door. hoseok appeared at last, dressed formally as i had requested. i had finally saved up enough money to take him on a date at an expensive restaurant downtown, and he deserved it after keeping up with my crazy ass for four months.

"i'm so excited~ you really didn't have to do this, you know." hoseok said as he stepped into the passenger seat. the fact that nobody had ever treated him like i had was so adorable. he was a rookie.

"baby, don't worry. you deserve it for being the best boyfriend i've ever had."

a red color flushed his pale cheeks, his bright smile making folds on his cheeks. cutie.
                                ---

windows lined every wall of the building, exposing the gorgeous skyline of busan. the sector we sat in was dimly lit, with candles topping every table. it was so sophisticated, so beautiful, it didn't feel appropriate for such young adolescents like hoseok and i. my love seemed to be immersed in the view, his eyes hadn't parted from the window since we arrived.

"yoongi, this is so beautiful, i-" hoseok's deep, brown eyes filled with tears as he spoke. "i don't know what i did to deserve you in my life. meeting you was  the only thing i don't regret doing, and i still remember the first day we met."

"the locker room." i mumbled, looking the lanky boy straight in the eye. he looked so content, so satisfied that i was his. and i felt the exact same way.

"remember when i got super drunk at the party? and the time we woke up late and went to the coffee shop in the park? oh- and the car."

i laughed loudly, recalling all of our memories together. it sent butterflies in my stomach, and i couldn't stop staring at him. it still felt like the first time i laid eyes on him, he hadn't changed a bit. it was crazy how in just the span of a few months i had grown so close to the boy. the new boy.

"hoseok, its crazy what i'm going to ask you." i gulped while rubbing my hands on my pants. "but will you promise me? to stay with me forever?"

hoseok paused and looked down at his plate, squinting his eyes a bit. was he unsure? confused?

"of course, yoongi. of course."
