~third pov~
the day had come where many goodbyes would be said and friendships would come to turning points. this day, of course, would be graduation day.
the pressure built up as the seven boys sat side by side on the cold metal seats, waiting for their names to be called. all around were proud family members, teachers, and partners gazing at how far the boys had come.
"yoongi," taehyung leaned over to speak. "your parents came?"
yoongi smiled and rubbed his hands together. "yep."
"we are here today to celebrate the end and beginning of a chapter in these students lives," principal kang announced, grabbing the attention of the crowd. "lets start off with one of the most honorable awards any student could receive. that award being valedictorian."
many of the eyes in the crowd diverted to namjoon, since he was known for being one of the most intelligent students in the school.
"i now present kim namjoon as this years valedictorian."
namjoon stepped up and gave his speech as his friends stared in awe. it was obvious that he deserved this award, and nobody could take that away.

the night continued on, and all the boys had received their diplomas, and respectful awards mostly relating to basketball.
the group headed over to coach wang, who had a proud expression plastered across his face. this would be their last time seeing coach wang, which made the whole vibe more melancholy than it already was.
"thank you boys–"
hoseok pulled out a letter from his pocket, which was his acceptance letter to seoul university under the scholarship of basketball.
"no, thank you." he said, showing the letter to coach wang. the rest of the crew smiled, seeing the content look on the coach's face.
"all seven of you have been the best team i've seen in my whole career as a coach. you all are going to go far in life, i believe it." he replied, pulling the team into a final group hug. it was sad for everyone, but reminded them all of the importance coach wang played in their lives.
the night passed on, and the final place the boys would all be together - was a mcdonalds. they were all famished after the long day, and the only place not crowded was the mcdonalds on eighth street.
"so, how's it feel to be out of high school?" baekhyun asked, chewing on his chicken nugget.
"don't know." yoongi said, sipping on a sprite.
"great because kookie and i are leaving for england tomorrow!" taehyung replied enthusiastically, his mouth stuffed with an apple pie.
"team ten here we come!"
"jungkook, how many times do i have to tell you, it's big ben, not team ten, smart one." namjoon sighed as he palmed his face.
"big ben is way better than team ten tho." hoseok muttered under his breath, laughing.
"i hope you guys are safe, and remember what i said about the special dance." seokjin said, his eyes glued to jungkook and taehyung.
"special dance?" the others looked around, confused about seokjin's terminology.
"you know! the special dance."
the group was still confused.
"sex! geez, i didn't think it would be that far fetched to call it that..."
"pfft, you sure didn't call it that when we-" namjoon laughed.
seokjin lifted his finger onto namjoon's lips to shush him.
it was the best last supper anyone could dream of, mcnuggets and french fries sure hit the spot for all the boys. but it was time for them to part ways, and say their goodbyes...in the mcdonald's parking lot.
"wow, i can't believe this is really it." jimin pouted, his eyes beginning to water up.
"yep," yoongi sighed as he looked down at the pavement. "but it's not like we'll never see eachother again, right?"
"i mean, jimin and baek are gonna be training for god knows how long," seokjin stated, pointing to the couple. "junglebook and taehyung will be somewhere in the world, yoongi and hoseok will be all the way in seoul, and i guess joon and i will stay put."
"i'll make sure to text you!" jimin announced.
"i'll tell you when hoseok is competing, and you can just turn on the tv and there he'll be!" yoongi said, half smiling.
"and i'll send you all pictures of team ten and the waffle tower in paris!" jungkook delivered, smiling with the cute bunny smile everyone would miss.
they all laughed and sighed, pulling each other in for the final group hug.

author's note
first of all, i just want to thank everyone who supported this book until its last words. i cant describe how thankful i am for you.
secondly, i just want all the readers to know that even through all my cringey eighth grade writing skills, this book and all of you will hold a very special place in my heart <3
not only has the process of writing this book been long and hectic, i'm so happy that i've shared my growth as a writer with everyone and let you all watch me improve, if it wasn't for you, i'd probably still be the horrible writer i was back in eighth grade when i started this lol.
AND LASTLY...
does anybody want a sequel of vkook traveling around the world, if so
