xxvi. descision.

~yoongi's pov~

today i would tell my parents my descision to move to seoul and live out my dream. i knew they wouldn't be supportive, but hoseok had already confirmed with me that i could sleep at his house if i got kicked out.

"eomma, appa, can we speak?" i said, peeking through their door.

"sit." my father stoically said while patting his hand on the bed.

"i've made a decision, and i know you'll be unhappy with it, but..." i gulped, looking down. "after graduation i'm moving to seoul with hoseok and pursuing a music career."

my mother gasped and grabbed my fathers hand.

"yoongi, what have we told you about the law firm back in daegu?" he said loudly, almost shouting. "i don't want you in the big city doing music and not making any money. daegu is where you belong." 

"appa, do you even care about my happiness? music is what makes me happy, and i can't stand to be away from hoseok."

"oh so it's about hoseok now, huh? what is he going to do in seoul, something just as unproductive as music?"

"basketball scholarship at the university."

"it's not my fault that you're going to be a broke, unsuccessful man in the city. don't come crying to me when you're starving."

"well at least i won't be a bland, unhappy lawyer like you!" i yelled, tears welling up in my eyes. "i'd rather be doing what i love and broke than trapped in a job i don't want and rich."

"leave, yoongi. come back when you change your mind!"

i looked at my mother and father once more. she was speechless. he was furious. i left the house, taking a few outfits and my laptop.

min yoongi–i'm pretty sure i just got kicked out.
                
jung hoseok–come over, it will be okay yoongs. was it because of me?

min yoongi–i told them what i wanted to do after graduation, needless to say they weren't pleased.

jung hoseok–don't worry about it. my mom said that she'll care for you.

min yoongi–thanks. i'll be right over ♡

wow i haven't updated in forever! i've been super busy with school and other projects (hint hint) but i'll be on spring break soon so don't worry!
