Chapter 41 - Masquerade Ball

I almost forgot about Mrs. Brooklyn's birthday, the royalties were so busy these past few days and we or I had a problem so we weren't able to make a Masquerade Ball for Mrs. Brooklyn.

The teachers understand us so they were the ones who lead this party for Mrs. Brooklyn.

"Anna, are you done?" I yelled.

"Yes, Elsa!" She said as she's rushing down from the stairs. "That's not fair! You really look so beautiful with that dress, while me, I look horrible." Anna cried out and I gave her a beam.

"Don't be silly, you look so adorable. C'mon, let's go."

As we arrived at the ball, all of the students looked at us, amazed. I didn't mind them while they're giving us compliments yet I'm smiling at them because I'm not that rude.

For me I looked simple, just like the other girls. There's this one girl that when I hopped out the limo, when I saw her dress, I was so amazed! The dress looks so beautiful and it suits her.

I didn't buy a new dress for this Ball, but Anna insisted that I should buy one. In thr end, Mom bought us dresses that would match personality. Right now, I'm using this hellish-black-gorgeous dress that everybody in this event would take a look at.

I looked around and my eyes caught Hiccup already eating the buffet.

Speaking of Hiccup, Hiccup is always here for me. He's here when Jack abandoned me. He's a good friend of mine, Merida and Hiccup would be really a great match.

I immediately walked to him and because I'm not paying attention to where I was going, I almost slipped on the floor and lucky me, I've regained my balance.

I put my mask in front of my face and smiled at him.

He looked at me astonished, and I just looked at him back.

"Do you know that it's not yet time to eat these food?" I said and smirked but I tried my best not to take a glimpse of the food, if I do I cannot help myself to stop because I'm already starving!

He hummed, "I didn't know that, well thanks for reminding me." He said and smiled, put his right hand inside of his pocket and did the finger-lickin'-good.

Both of us laughed at the same time.

He stopped for a moment and scanned me from head to foot. I did a quick turn, posed and smiled at him. Trying my best to seduce him even though we're nothing but friends. Seducing him in nothing not in a bad way that I'm making him fall for me. No-no.

"You are so beautiful." Hiccup said which made me blush.

"Thank you." I've given my best to fake my voice but then he laughed. "What's so funny?" I frowned, I'm bad at this I know.

"Stop hiding behind your mask, Elsa. You look beautiful. Maybe you've forgotten that I know every single detail about you so you can't use that as a disguise because eventually, I know it would be you." He explained and I gave him a friendly punch and removed the mask in front of my eyes.

He has a point, he knows everything about me. I think he had already memorized the features of me because I'm always crying in front of him. The thought of that made me blush even more because of embarrassment, but I shrugged it off.

"Where's everyone?" I asked, looking around the event and he shrugged. He removed his glasses and fixed his hair. Making it look spikey just like Jack's. I have to admit, Hiccup is handsome and way too gentleman than Jack. Woah woah, in his hairstyle, he doesn't look like Hiccup who's always there for me. He looks different with that hairstyle of his.
