Chapter 26 - Truth

ANNA:

"What will we sing?" Kristoff immediately asked me, I blushed because these days, we are talking more often.

"I don't know, what do you think?" I said, still blushing. I can't control my blush anymore so I looked down. Kristoff chuckled, "What?" I said, but this time.. I blushed because of embarrassment.

"Nothing. It's just-" He was cut off because I put my index finger in front of his mouth, he was startle at what I did but I just don't care. He's laughing at me and it really annoys the shit out of me.

"I know a song, I am hoping you know this song too?" I said and he just raised a brow on me, I rolled my eyes, "Not Over You by Gavin Degraw." I said and grinned

"I've heard that song." He said made me sigh in relieved, "What?" He asked irritatingly

"I'm just glad that a basketball player knows music. Some of the players don't. I've read an article about that and that's a ninety-nine percent half true." I said and chuckled

"Well, I'm not like those shitty basketball players. Am I?" He hesitated asking me. I laughed nervously

"Ha-ha-ha! I-I dunno?" I said, "So, Not Over You it is?" I said, trying to change the subject. Hoping that Kristoff will not mind.

"Sure. Not Over You it is then."

"Anna!" Merida shouted my name, I quickly looked at her as she's getting near me, "The bus is already here. Ye coming?" She asked when she's already in front of me.

"Not today, sorry. I need to get to Kristoff." I said and smiled a bit.

"But why?" Merida asked me as her brows raised, crossed her arms.

"For the Broadway 101. We need to practice."

"No need. Me and Hiccup just practiced a while ago here in school at the music room. We didn't practice yesterday.. you guys both know the song?"

I shrugged, "He told me he knows it. He's just familiar with it. I don't think he really knows the rhythm of it." I said and frowned, "I'm really feeling lazy today." I sighed

"Don't worry, Anna. Just remember it's for the grades, aye?" Merida said and winked at me, "Anyways, I need to get going. Good bye, Anna. Be home early. Don't make us worried." She said and I giggled, she ran away.

I searched to whole school just to find Kristoff. But, I still didn't see him. The school is about to close and I think the boys and I are the only people at the school. The other royalties are on their way home.

The boys don't go in to the bus to drive them home. They go home themselves because they always hanging out.

"I should check in the gym, since Kristoff likes sports." I said to myself, since no one are left in the school's hallway so it's okay to talk to myself.

Luckily, I'm correct. I saw the boys there playing basketball. I think they don't care if they got locked up inside the school. As long as they are happy, they just don't care.

"Kristoff." I said, and the four of them stopped playing. I blushed and I looked down in embarrassment. They stopped because of me, oh great. "I thought we're going to practice.."
